Alejandro Garnacho Next Club Odds: Chelsea Odds Slashed For United Winger

Betting sites have slashed their odds on Alejandro Garnacho signing for Chelsea before the summer transfer window closes.
At just 21, Garnacho still has much of his career ahead of him - but signs are growing that his future could lie away from Old Trafford.
The Manchester United academy graduate enjoyed his best season yet last term, hitting double figures for both goals and assists.
However, his frustration came to a head after being limited to only 20 minutes in United’s UEFA Europa League final defeat by Tottenham.
Garnacho did not travel with the rest of his United teammates on their pre-season tour in the United States and appears to be disheartened at the lack of movement on his future.
The Argentina winger is currently training away from the first-team squad and is now priced at 4/1 to stay at the club, with the arrivals of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko meaning competition for places is fierce.
Links with Napoli and Chelsea in January came to nothing, but with United reportedly keen to raise funds, a summer switch to Stamford Bridge now appears increasingly likely.
Let's look at the latest Garnacho transfer news and the clubs vying for the winger's signature.
Blues In Driving Seat To Land Garnacho
Premier League rivals Chelsea have reportedly agreed personal terms with the young forward – although they still need to reach an agreement with the Red Devils.
Garnacho has now hinted that a deal may be edging closer, posting a picture of himself in a gym, head in hands, accompanied by a sand timer and ellipses emoji – a combination many have taken as a sign of developments to come.
The Blues have once again been splashing the cash this summer, with Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens already through the door.
Noni Madueke has moved to Arsenal, however, so there is room for a player like Garnacho in their squad.
Chelsea are the 1/5 clear favourites with betting apps to land the United outcast this summer.

Aston Villa Odds Shorten
Garnacho sparked speculation in June after posting a photo of himself on holiday wearing an Aston Villa shirt bearing the name of fellow United outcast Marcus Rashford.
The choice of kit – from a club strongly linked with the winger – fuelled talk of a possible move to the West Midlands.
Villa are among several clubs thought to be considering a bid for Garnacho, whose odds of joining Unai Emery’s side have recently shortened.
Manchester United are understood to be exploring a potential swap deal involving Villa striker Ollie Watkins moving in the opposite direction.
The winger was 12/1 to be playing in claret and blue permanently after the summer transfer window, but is now priced at 8/1.
Spurs Switch An Option
Tottenham are always on the lookout for players who can excite the crowd – and Garnacho would certainly fit that profile.
With James Maddison sidelined by what could be a long-term injury, Spurs’ attacking threat has been blunted, making the addition of a direct and skilful winger all the more appealing.
Manager Thomas Frank is gradually shaping a squad to his own design, and the Manchester United youngster could feature on his list of potential recruits.
Spurs are now 16/1 to sign the Argentina international this summer.
Napoli Continue To Strengthen
Napoli’s interest in Garnacho is well known. The Serie A champions previously lodged a £38million bid for the winger – a figure that fell below United’s valuation.
Reports indicate the Italian club are preparing an improved offer, aiming to take advantage of the uncertainty over Garnacho’s role at Old Trafford.
Napoli see the Argentina international as a key addition to their squad as they seek to build on last season’s title success, having already secured Kevin De Bruyne.
They can also point to how they revitalised former United midfielder Scott McTominay’s career as proof they can get the best out of him.
Garnacho is currently priced at 16/1 to make a summer move to Naples with Unibet.
Leverkusen Need A Rebuild
Following Florian Wirtz’s move to Liverpool, Bayer Leverkusen are expected to strengthen their creative options ahead of the new season.
New head coach Erik ten Hag, who previously managed Garnacho at Old Trafford, is well aware of the winger’s qualities and how to maximise his potential.
Funds from Wirtz’s sale are likely to lead to several arrivals, and the Manchester United youngster could be among the names on the Dutchman’s shortlist.
The German club are currently priced at 20/1 to sign Garnacho.
Newcastle Move Looks Unlikely
It was supposed to be a summer of excitement at Newcastle United, but things could hardly be worse for the Magpies.
The drama around Alexander Isak continues, and they have missed out on several of their top targets, with Anthony Elanga the only arrival so far.
It’s looking less likely by the day that Garnacho will be the next through the door at St James’ Park, with a move to the north-east now priced at 20/1.
Atletico Interested In Former Youth Player
Although he represents Argentina at international level, Garnacho was born in Spain and came through the youth ranks at Atletico Madrid.
He spent five years with Los Rojiblancos before being signed by Manchester United, and a return to his roots remains a possibility this summer.
Atleti already have a strong Argentinian presence in their squad, and Diego Simeone could offer the winger some much needed stability.
The emotional pull of going back to the club where he made his name as a youngster may be a factor, but he is currently 33/1 to be playing at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano next season, according to football betting sites.
PSG and Juventus are at the bottom of the market, both priced at 40/1 to sign Garnacho.
