Alejandro Garnacho is likely to leave Manchester United this summer, and although Chelsea are the favourites to secure his signature, Aston Villa's odds on betting sites have shortened significantly.

The Argentinian winger is currently being made to train away from the first-team squad, and despite being 8/1 to remain at the club, his departure looks inevitable. 

Previously valued at around £70m, Garnacho’s price tag is likely to have fallen, as manager Ruben Amorim looks to reshape his squad for next season. 

A swift sale would allow United to bring in replacements with the attributes needed to lift them out of their current slump.

Aston Villa Backed To Make A Move

Garnacho set tongues wagging in June by sharing a photo of himself wearing an Aston Villa shirt on holiday. 

His decision to wear the kit of a club strongly linked with him generated plenty of speculation about a move to the West Midlands. 

Villa are among several sides believed to be weighing up a potential bid for Garnacho, and his odds of joining Unai Emery's side have shortened significantly in recent days.

He was 12/1 to be sporting claret and blue on a permanent basis after the summer transfer window, but is now just 3/1.

Forest Looking For Elanga Replacement

After punching above their weight last season, Nottingham Forest are in danger of having their best players poached away this summer.

Anthony Elanga has already left for Newcastle, and Tottenham are trying to sign Morgan Gibbs-White.
