Alexander Isak Next Club Odds: Liverpool Favourites To Make Another Bid

Alexander Isak has been the story of the summer, and the drama around the Swede is not done just yet.
The prolific striker has downed tools at Newcastle and is training alone away from his teammates as the first game of the season approaches.
Currently priced at 10/11 to remain on Tyneside, betting sites see a move to Liverpool as favourite at 4/5.
Newcastle have been searching for a potential replacement for Isak, but have so far drawn a blank.
Liam Delap and Joao Pedro have moved to Chelsea, while Benjamin Sesko chose Manchester United despite the Magpies agreeing a fee with RB Leipzig.
Eddie Howe has said that Isak will not be involved in the opening game against Aston Villa, but has not completely ruled out a return to the team at some point.
Liverpool's bid of £110million was turned down, and the big question is whether they will return with another offer before the transfer window closes.

Will Liverpool Get Their Man?
Liverpool have already spent over £300m this summer, but they are willing to spend more to bring in Isak.
Arne Slot's new-look side lost on penalties to Crystal Palace in the Community Shield, and it looks like the signings might need some time to adjust to their new surroundings.
Hugo Ekitike managed a debut goal after just four minutes, but you would have to think that Isak could have had an even bigger impact on the game.
Having scored 23 goals last season, he would be a huge asset to the Reds as they look to defend their Premier League title.

Saudi Switch A Viable Option
It has been reported many times that Isak only wants to join Liverpool.
The problem with this is that Newcastle would prefer not to sell to a Premier League rival.
The Swede is thought to have no interest in moving to Saudi Arabia, but if the Magpies get their way, it could be his only option.
Saudi Pro League clubs have been on red alert following the news that Isak was looking at his options, and a move to the Middle East is priced at 20/1 with football betting sites.
PSG Heading In Right Direction
After years of underachieving with Lionel Messi, Mbappe and Neymar, Paris Saint-Germain are moving in the right direction.
Luis Enrique's side were exquisite in their 5-0 Champions League final win over Inter Milan, and have a squad full of top young players.
Adding a player of Isak's quality in the summer would be a major coup for PSG, who have been cut from 33/1 to 25/1 to sign the Swede.
Bayern And Madrid Unlikely Moves
Two other European giants that may have an interest in Isak are Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Bayern would be the likelier of the two, having lost Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller, as well as being without Jamal Musiala due to injury, but it is unlikely they would bring in the Newcastle man with Harry Kane leading the line.
Real Madrid may eventually be interested in signing Isak, but it is unlikely they will make a move this summer.
The Spaniards already have a top-class forward line, although the Sweden international is one of the best strikers in European football and would be a big addition to any team.
Both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid can be backed at 33/1 with betting apps.
Premier League Trio Outsiders
Chelsea have been a hive of transfer activity as usual, but having already snapped up Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, bringing Isak to Stamford Bridge is very unlikely.
The same can be said for Arsenal, who landed their main target Viktor Gyokeres, while Manchester City seem to have finished their transfer business early.
All three Premier League clubs can be backed at 50/1.
