Andoni Iraola Next Club Odds: The Main Contenders To Snap Up Bournemouth Boss

Bournemouth have confirmed manager Andoni Iraola will leave the club at the end of the season after failing to agree a new deal, but where could he be heading next?
The Spaniard worked wonders during his three-year spell with the Premier League minnows, despite losing three of his first-choice back four to bigger clubs during the summer.
Key forward Antoine Semenyo was also sold to Manchester City during the January transfer window and more players could leave in the close season.
Newcastle are the early favourites on betting sites to appoint Iraola as their new manager, but there are several other clubs that could make a move ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
We take a look at eight possible destinations for the Cherries boss, whose side are heading for another top-half finish following a stunning win at leaders Arsenal.

Magpies Could Make A Change
Iraola and Jose Mourinho are the joint-favourites with one of the betting apps as possible replacements for Eddie Howe, who is under pressure at Newcastle.
Last season, Howe engineered a first major domestic trophy in 70 years by winning the Carabao Cup and a fifth-placed finish also ensured Champions League football, but the current campaign has been a struggle.
The acrimonious sale of star striker Alexander Isak to Liverpool was momentarily forgotten when his replacement Nick Woltemade made an excellent start to the season following his move from Stuttgart, but he has scored just once since Boxing Day.
Fellow summer signing Yoane Wissa has not started a Premier League game since facing his former club Brentford more than two months ago.
Seven defeats in their last 10 Premier League outings have seen the Magpies slump to 14th in the table and some fans are starting to think Howe’s time is up after four and a half years in charge.
The Cherries team have never lost to Newcastle under Iraola, who has proved to be a masterful tactician in the Premier League, so it is unsurprising he is 11/10 to end up at St James’ Park for the start of next season.

Palace Looking For Glasner Replacement
Crystal Palace are actively searching for a new manager after Oliver Glasner announced he would leave the club at the end of the campaign.
Spanish sports publication Marca recently revealed that the Eagles have made a “millionaire offer” to Iraola to replace the successful Austrian at Selhurst Park, but will he accept?
Glasner criticised the Palace board for failing to boost the squad ahead of a European campaign and his ire increased when captain Marc Guehi was sold to Manchester City in January.
The sale of key players may set alarm bells ringing for Iraola, but for now he is 7/4 to end up in south London.

Emotional Return To Bilbao?
Iraola made 400 appearances over 12 seasons at Athletic Club and he is in the running to return in a different capacity in the summer.
Athletic are also in the market for a new manager after it was announced Ernesto Valverde would leave the club at the end of the season.
Iraola has naturally been linked with an emotional homecoming amid reports his family wants to return to the Basque Country.
He would be a natural fit at the San Mames Stadium and is available at 2/1 for a hero’s welcome at his former club.

Slot Under Pressure
Arne Slot delivered the Premier League title last season, but the current campaign could end in failure.
Mohamed Salah’s dip in form and speculation about his future blighted a season also marred by defensive frailties.
The Reds were knocked out of the Champions League by PSG in April and may need fifth spot to guarantee a place in next season’s competition.

Should the Merseysiders miss out, it could spell the end of the road for Slot.
Many believe the Dutchman is keeping the seat warm for the return of former midfielder Xabi Alonso, but the Fenway Sports Group, which owns the club, has reportedly been “impressed” by Iraola’s work on the south coast.
He is 5/2 to make the move to Anfield in the next few months.
Carrick Future Unclear At Old Trafford
Michael Carrick seemed almost guaranteed to be given the Manchester United job as a permanent replacement for Ruben Amorim after making an impressive start to his reign as head coach until the end of the season.
Carrick began his tenure with four successive victories, including impressive wins against Arsenal and Manchester City, and United are well positioned to be playing Champions League football next season.
However, the Red Devils have won just one of their last four Premier League games and were booed off at half-time in the 2-1 home defeat by Leeds.
United legends Roy Keane and Gary Neville both expect Carrick to be offered a long-term deal by the United board, but if they miss out on a top-five finish, momentum may switch towards finding an alternative like Iraola, who is 4/1 for the Old Trafford job.

London Calling Iraola?
The jury is out on whether Liam Rosenior is the right man to lead Chelsea, who are our four points adrift of fifth spot at the time of writing.
If the Blues miss out on next season’s Champions League, the club’s twitchy owners could pull the trigger once again as they did with Enzo Maresca at the start of the year.
The Chelsea hierarchy is thought to be big admirers of Iraola, viewing him as someone who could help improve the club’s young squad.
However, Iraola may be concerned about the length of time Chelsea managers are afforded at Stamford Bridge, which explains why he is 5/1 to move to west London.

Arteta No Longer Looks Invincible
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was on course for an unlikely quadruple at one point in the season, but there is a real possibility the Gunners could end up with nothing.
Their lead at the top of the Premier League is starting to look precarious following a 2-1 defeat by Iraola’s Bournemouth and they were also knocked out of the FA Cup by Southampton.
Despite having the deepest squad in the Premier League, a trophyless season is not out of the question – a scenario which could result in fans calling for Arteta’s head.
Iraola is 6/1 to secure a move to the Emirates.
Arbeloa Future Up In The Air
Alvaro Arbeloa is Real Madrid’s head coach for the time being, but it is unclear whether he will be in charge for the start of next season.
Some thought he had replaced Alonso until the end of the season, but there are reports his deal is much longer, possibly extending until 2027.
Whatever the scenario, Arbeloa needs to deliver results to convince his superiors that he is the right man to lead the team.

Regaining the Liga title from arch rivals Barcelona now looks out of reach and Los Blancos are also out of the Champions League, so the former Liverpool full-back is already under pressure.
The 15-time European champions may be a step too far for Iraola, who is 8/1 to move to the Spanish capital.
