Newcastle Vs Bournemouth, Saturday 12.30pm
It is a long time since there has been such a gap between a team’s pre-season expectation (trepidation) and their actual start as what’s happened to Newcastle in the opening weeks of this Premier League season.
The concurrent departures of Eddie Howe and captain Bruno Guimaraes brought out the doomsayers but what is clear, regardless of what happened next, is that the Toon needed a reset.

14th | Bournemouth | 2 | 1 | -1 |
Matthias Jaissle has made a big early impression and outside the signings is already getting more out of players already there, like Yoan Wissa and Anthony Elanga, which the early Howe era prided itself on.
This swell of optimism should see them past Marco Rose’s side that have undone their good work in the opening two games with bad endings - although it’s worth noting that Newcastle haven’t beaten Bournemouth in the league since 2020.
Andy's Panel Selection 1: Newcastle Vs Bournemouth: Newcastle To Win - 19/20 With LiveScoreBet

Inter Vs Napoli, Sunday 5pm
It may be only the third matchday of the Serie A season, but this already feels like a big moment for Massimiliano Allegri.
The former Milan coach returns to San Siro for the first time since the Rossoneri choked with Champions League qualification within touching distance, precipitating his departure and that of most of the club’s sporting management as well.

10th | Napoli | 2 | 3 | +1 |
Accordingly Allegri was not a universally popular choice to succeed Antonio Conte and despite winning on the opening day at Genoa (fortunately, with Kevin De Bruyne getting away with a foul before scoring the opener) they were clearly second best in last week’s home defeat to Como, and Allegri’s nemesis Cesc Fabregas.
Inter have come out the blocks confidently and will improve as new signings including Curtis Jones and the yet-to-debut Djed Spence settle - while Napoli arrive without the inspirational Scott McTominay, who is recovering from a minor heart procedure.
Andy's Panel Selection 2: Inter Vs Napoli: Inter To Win To Nil - 7/5 With LiveScoreBet
Villarreal Vs Deportivo, Sunday 8pm
Villarreal began this season with a great deal of anticipation after the arrival of Inigo Perez as Marcelino’s replacement. The latter, for all his successes, is not the most expansive of coaches while the former - Andoni Iraola’s former assistant - took modest Rayo Vallecano all the way to the Conference League final.
The step up is taking time, with Inigo’s new (and talented squad) still looking for a win amid some uneven performances, taking in a narrow failure to win at Atletico Madrid before last week’s disappointing loss at Alaves.

8th | Deportivo | 3 | 5 | +2 |
15th | Villarreal | 3 | 2 | -1 |
Depor’s long-awaited return to the top flight has been impressive, and they are unbeaten in the first three games in after an extensive and ambitious recruitment campaign, but they are overwhelming underdogs on some betting apps.
One of those signings, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has three goals in three and is helping them to make light of getting just 8.3 shots off on average per game, which is joint-second lowest in La Liga.
Andy's Panel Selection 3: Villarreal Vs Deportivo: Draw - 16/5 With LiveScoreBet
Andy's weekend treble pays around 19/1 with LiveScoreBet.
