Boxing Day's Both Teams To Score Tips: Oxford/Saints In 8/1 Four-Fold Acca

The fixture list may be lacking Premier League sparkle on Boxing Day this festive season, but The Panel still have plenty of Football League games from which to pick for their both teams to score tips.

Last Saturday’s column fell a goal short of landing a 17/2 BTTS acca as Stoke failed to find the net at Watford, but The Panel remain in the black with 10.5 points profit over the course of the season.

This week’s both teams to score acca can be backed at more than 8/1 with one of the best betting sites

BTTS Tips: Oxford Utd Vs Southampton

Mid-table Southampton remain in the play-off picture despite picking up just one point from their last two games, but The Panel are more interested in their both teams to score record which is impeccable away from home.

Saints have scored and conceded in all but four of their 22 Championship matches this season, but on the road they have a perfect 100% record.

They recently lost 2-1 at Norwich, like Oxford in the bottom three of the table, and also conceded in a 3-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday, comfortably the lowest scorers in the division.

Oxford, who sacked manager Gary Rowett two days before Christmas, have kept just two clean sheets this season, so their defence is likely to be breached on Saturday, but will they find the net?

They have scored in seven of their last nine home games, four of which involved goals at both ends against Coventry, Middlesbrough, Ipswich and Millwall – all top-six sides.

Hopefully, they can get the job done again at 4/6 with several betting apps

Both Teams To Score Acca: Bradford Vs Wigan

In League One, promotion-chasing Bradford look worth a whirl at 19/20 for goals at both ends against Wigan.

The third-placed Bantams concede a goal a game on average, but only Huddersfield have a better both teams to score record than them this season.

"The reason they are close to Evens is that they have kept clean sheets in four of their last five matches, but Wigan are masters at scoring and conceding away from home." - Warren Barner

Their last eight away matches have ticked the BTTS box, which included games at top-six sides Lincoln and Bolton.

The Latics are not the most prolific scorers in the division, but always seem to find the way to goal on their travels, so The Panel are on board this game at a decent price.

BTTS Predictions: Tranmere Vs Fleetwood

Fleetwood came up trumps for The Panel last week with a 2-1 victory over Gillingham to maintain their 100% both teams to score record at home.

This week, the Cod Army are on the road against Tranmere as the two best BTTS performers in League Two meet at Prenton Park.

Rovers are on a roll when it comes to games involving goals at both ends, with nine of their last 10 paying out in this market.

Fleetwood have only once failed to score away from home this season and four of their last six games on the road have hit the BTTS bull’s-eye.

BTTS Acca: Solihull Vs Tamworth

The Panel have dropped into the National League for the final leg of their BTTS tips as mid-table sides Solihull and Tamworth clash at Damson Park.

Tamworth top the BTTS table in the fifth tier with a 74% record, but away from home they are even better at 83%.

Saturday’s impressive 2-1 victory over promotion hopefuls Southend was their sixth successive match in which both teams had scored, and away from home they are on a successful eight-match run in that market.

Solihull crushed Sutton 4-1 last time out to make it three matches in a row in which both teams had scored, so this game looks promising at 7/10.

The Panel's BTTS Tips 4: Solihull Vs Tamworth - 7/10 With Coral

* An acca on Saturday's BTTS tips is priced at just over 8/1 with Coral.
