Saturday's Both Teams To Score Tips: Cherries The Pick In 17/2 Four-Fold Acca

The Panel are on the hunt for some festive cheer from their final set of both teams to score tips before Christmas.

Last week’s BTTS acca was disappointing, bearing in mind Brighton lost 2-0 at Liverpool despite having an expected goals (xG) score of 1.90 – slightly higher than the hosts’ 1.89.

Dumbarton also kept their first clean sheet of the season in a 2-0 win against East Kilbride which meant The Panel fell two goals short, but the column is still in profit to the tune of 11.5 points since the start of the season.

This week’s preview kicks off with the Premier League clash between Bournemouth and Burnley, the first of four selections from a BTTS acca which can be backed at 17/2 on one of the best betting sites.

BTTS Tips: Bournemouth Vs Burnley

Burnley head to the south coast on the back of a seven-match losing run which has left them second from bottom, six points from safety.

Despite scoring the third fewest number of goals this season and possessing the second leakiest defence behind Wolves, the Clarets are almost impeccable in the BTTS market away from home.

Since losing 3-0 at Tottenham on the opening weekend, Scott Parker’s side have scored and conceded in seven successive matches on the road, including trips to both Manchester clubs, Aston Villa and Newcastle.

Bournemouth played out an astonishing 4-4 draw at Manchester United on Monday and their defence is the sixth worst for the quality of chances allowed using the xG measure.

Only the bottom four have conceded more goals than the Cherries, so The Panel are happy to make this match their first pick at 10/11 with Bet365 and a few other bookmakers.

Both Teams To Score Acca: Watford Vs Stoke

Watford have momentum on their side ahead of Saturday’s Championship clash with play-off hopefuls Stoke.

The Hornets have lost just one of their last nine games under manager Javi Gracia, but they have also scored and conceded in eight successive matches, five of which were settled before half-time.

Only Southampton have a better both teams to score record in the Championship than Watford, who would have paid out in nine of their 11 games at home this season – the best in the division.

Stoke are unreliable BTTS performers, but they beat Swansea 2-1 in their last outing and have conceded in their last four matches.

Hopefully, Watford’s run will drag them over the line in this match which can be backed at 3/4 with several betting apps.

BTTS Predictions: Fleetwood Vs Gillingham

The Panel are dropping into League Two for the third leg of their both teams to score tips.

Mid-table Fleetwood and Gillingham are both locked on 30 points, so a close encounter could be on the cards at Highbury Stadium.

The Panel, though, are more interested in whether there will be goals at both ends and the Cod Army look likely sorts in that respect, with all 10 of their home games ticking the BTTS box this season.

Additionally, they had scored and conceded in eight successive matches until last weekend’s 2-0 win at bottom-of-the-table Newport, so they are on a roll.

Gillingham have drawn five games in a row, four of which involved goals at both ends, so all the ingredients are there for a winning tip which is available at 3/4.

BTTS Acca: Forfar Vs Edinburgh

The final selection is in The Panel’s familiar hunting ground of Scottish League Two, but Dumbarton have been discarded after a 9-0 midweek Challenge Cup drubbing by Inverness, who led 7-0 at half-time.

Instead, The Panel remain faithful to Edinburgh, who have the same 88% BTTS record as The Sons this season.

Last weekend, City lost 4-1 at home to Clyde to make it five successive matches involving goals at both ends and they have now scored in all 16 league matches.

Both of this season's meetings between the teams have ended in 1-1 draws, the latest a Scottish Challenge Cup game just 11 days ago when the respective managers fielded strong sides.

That’s good enough for The Panel and wraps up this week’s both teams to score acca at 4/6.
