Brendan Rodgers Next Job Odds: Where Next After Celtic Departure?

Brendan Rodgers is no longer the manager of Celtic after a dramatic departure on Monday.
Rodgers resigned following a 3-1 defeat by Hearts, which left the Hoops eight points adrift of top spot in the Scottish Premiership.
Martin O’Neill has been appointed as his replacement on an interim basis. He returns to Celtic Park two decades after his first spell in charge of the club, which yielded three league titles and five cup victories, came to an end.
What's next for Rodgers? Here, we look at the possible next destinations for the Northern Irishman and the best prices available on betting sites.
Ireland Awaits For Rodgers?
The Republic of Ireland spent months finding a new manager following Stephen Kenny’s exit, eventually settling on Heimir Hallgrimsson.
Results have been mixed at best under the former Iceland head coach, and if the boys in green fail to qualify for the World Cup play-offs, it could lead to another change of head coach.
At 5/4, the Republic of Ireland is the most likely next destination on betting apps for the man from County Antrim.
Much depends on whether or not Rodgers is interested in moving into international football and all it entails.
You feel Ireland would do their best to persuade him to take over, although his wages could prove to be a problem.
Wolves Would Be Big Challenge
Wolves remain winless in the Premier League this season, leaving Vitor Pereira under huge pressure.
The Portuguese recently signed a new contract at Molineux, but unless results improve quickly, he will probably find himself out of work sooner rather than later.
Rodgers has Premier League experience from his spells in charge of Liverpool and Leicester City, and he no doubt feels he has unfinished business in England's top tier.
It would be a brave move for Rodgers to move to a team in serious relegation danger, but he is just 2/1 to join Wolves next.
Brendan Rodgers Next Job Odds:
| Team | Odds | Probability |
| Republic of Ireland | 5/4 | 44.4% |
| Wolves | 2/1 | 33.3% |
| Fulham | 4/1 | 20% |
| Liverpool | 9/2 | 18.2% |
| Leeds United | 5/1 | 16.7% |
| West Ham | 6/1 | 14.3% |
| Chelsea | 8/1 | 11.1% |
| Newcastle United | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Silva Nearing End At Fulham?
Marco Silva was recently linked with a move to Nottingham Forest, and although he remains Fulham manager for now, it is hard to shake the feeling that he is nearing the end at Craven Cottage.
Silva has done a fine job in west London, restoring his reputation within English football, but this could be his last season with the Cottagers.
The club’s location in the capital could appeal to the ex-Celtic boss, but he would probably seek assurances over the owner’s ambitions before taking over.
Rodgers is priced at 4/1 to end up at Fulham.

Dramatic Reds Return?
Liverpool have lost four Premier League games in a row, and five of their last six outings in all competitions.
Arne Slot’s job is not yet under threat, but football is a results business, and the Dutchman could be in trouble if Liverpool’s poor form continues over the coming weeks.
The re-appointment of Rodgers would not go down well with some of the fan base, but stranger things have happened in this sport.
Rodgers is available at 9/2 with football betting sites to rejoin the Reds.
Leeds Or West Ham Could Make Move
Leeds United have made a solid start to the campaign, helped by a 2-1 victory over West Ham last time out.
However, if the Whites were to fall out of form and begin to be troubled by the bottom three, they could consider making a change in the dugout.
Rodgers can be backed at 5/1 to replace Daniel Farke should he get the sack.
West Ham (6/1) are already on their second manager of 2025/26, but Nuno Espirito Santo is struggling to lift them up the table.

Chelsea And Newcastle Outsiders
Rodgers was once on Chelsea's staff, working under Jose Mourinho during the latter’s first spell at the helm.
Despite winning two trophies last term, Enzo Maresca continues to divide opinion among Chelsea fans.
However, few supporters would be enthused by the prospect of Rodgers replacing him, an option listed at 8/1.
Newcastle United are struggling to get going this season, but Eddie Howe retains the backing of the supporters and his superiors.
Still, it is not out of the question that the Magpies will make a change this season, and Rodgers is 10/1 to go to St James’ Park for his next job.
