Cadillac Championship Betting Tips: 4 Panel Selections From Doral

The USPGA Championship is just a couple of weeks away, but before then the PGA Tour makes its first visit since 2016 to the Donald Trump-owned Blue Monster Course at Doral.
Adam Scott was the last player to win here in 2016 and he is in this week’s Cadillac Championship field, alongside 2012 champion Justin Rose. Both players can be backed at 35/1 on betting sites.
However, world number one Scottie Scheffler, runner-up in his last two outings at the US Masters and The Heritage, is generally the 3/1 favourite to win the fifth Signature Event of the season.
With Rory McIlroy opting to play at Quail Hollow next week instead of Florida, Cameron Young is next in the market at 12/1 followed by Collin Morikawa (20/1) and Tommy Fleetwood (25/1).
Although it’s been 10 years since PGA Tour players last got a look at the Blue Monster, it was used on the LIV Golf League in 2024 and 2025 when Dean Burmester and Marc Leishman were the respective winners on a course which is second only to Torrey Pines (South) in terms of length in this year’s schedule.
The course didn’t used to be so long, but a 2014 redesign by Gil Hanse saw it extended to around 7,500 yards, but another 250 yards have been added to that number for what should be an exacting test this week, especially if the wind blows.
Miami will be hot and humid for the first three days, but thunderstorms are expected for the whole of Sunday, so expect fun and games for the climax of the tournament.
Brooks Koepka believes players need to tackle the Blue Monster with a "US Open mentality", while Henrik Stenson claimed that "missing in the wrong place is more like hitting it out of bounds".
It promises to be a tough four days in Miami, but The Panel are focusing on three players long off tee for their Cadillac Championship betting tips and they also have another in the top 20 market.

Cadillac Championship Betting Tips: Lee Can Tame Monster
Min Woo Lee hasn’t been at his best in the last few weeks, missing the cut for the only time this season at Augusta and finishing well down the field at Harbour Town, but his form prior to those outings was very good.
The Aussie posted top-six finishes at Pebble Beach, Bay Hill and Memorial Park, and was just outside the top 10 at Riviera, so generally he is on an upward trajectory.
Having skipped the two-man team event in New Orleans, Lee should be refreshed to attack the Blue Monster which should suit his long game.
Lee stands 12th in the driving distance standings this season, but what’s even more encouraging is that he is inside the top 10 using the Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green measurement.
True, he gave away strokes in all the major metrics at The Heritage, but Harbour Town is a track where he has never played well and does not fit his expansive game.
Koepka’s words above may strike fear into many in this field, but they could even give encouragement to Lee, who finished fifth in the 2023 US Open at the Los Angeles Country Club - redesigned by Hanse 13 years earlier.
It will be a difficult assignment for Lee, but his all-round game has been in good shape apart from a couple of blips and he looks well equipped to compete at 28/1 with several betting apps.

Cadillac Championship Tips: Go With Gotterup
It’s been a remarkable start to the season for Chris Gotterup, who won the Sony Open in Hawaii in January followed three weeks later by the Phoenix Open for his fourth PGA Tour title.
Gotterup gave The Panel a return for sharing the top debutant accolade in what was a profitable week for the team at the US Masters and hopefully he can thrive at a course which should be a good fit.
Only three players have hit the ball longer than Gotterup on average this season and he stands eighth in the Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee rankings.
Like Lee, the 26-year-old American is inside the top 10 from tee-to-green this season, so there is a lot to like about his prospects this week.
Top 25 spots at The Masters and The Heritage came on the back of sixth at the Houston Open where his Strokes Gained numbers were positive across the board.
He will be unfamiliar with the Blue Monster, but so will the most of the field and he has to be considered at 22/1 with Bet365.

Cadillac Championship Predictions: Hojgaard Fits The Bill
Nicolai Hojgaard has made a couple of appearances on The Panel pages this year and he certainly fits the profile of players that should not be overawed by this track which has water on most of the holes and plenty of sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens.
The Dane occupies a top-10 spot for driving distance alongside his twin Rasmus and he has been more than respectable from tee-to-green.
Hojgaard moved into the world’s top 40 with a runners-up spot in Houston earlier this month, although he was a distant five shots behind worthy champion Gary Woodland.
Although there is no cut in Miami, Hojgaard has only once failed to make the weekend this year, at Augusta, and he has posted four top-six finishes in what is turning out to be an excellent season.
A decent scrambler (34th) and putter (41st), everything is in place for a maiden PGA Tour title in a limited field lacking McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schauffele and Ludvig Aberg.
At 45/1 with BetMGM, The Panel are on board with Hojgaard, who gave the team an each-way return at PGA National two months ago.

Cadillac Championship Top 20 Tips: Rodgers Could Be A Top-20 Smash
There looks to be a bias towards early starters on Thursday and with tee-off times yet to be published, The Panel are giving the first-round leader market a wide berth.
Instead, the team are getting involved in Patrick Rodgers to finish in the top 20 in a 72-man field at 9/2 with SpreadEx.
Rodgers had a couple of weeks to forget in Texas – his only missed cuts of 2026 - but he was 16th at The Heritage, like the Cadillac Championship a Signature Event.
The 33-year-old American, who lives less than 90 miles from Doral, finished just outside the top 10 at The Players Championship, so he has reasons to be cheerful ahead of what is expected to be a tough challenge.
