The Celebrity Big Brother final is nearly upon us after three weeks of tears, tantrums, fun and frolics in the famous abode.

ITV's resurrection of the star-studded reality TV show has proved to be a ratings hit, after the launch episode attracted the show's biggest audience in more than a decade.

Of course, CBB only aired for the first time since 2018 - when it was on Channel 5 - this year, but fans turned on their TVs in their droves to see the likes of former X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh in the house, following a six-year wait.

ITV were reported to have splashed out big bucks to recruit Sharon, who was the first-ever Celebrity Big Brother "lodger", meaning she wasn't ever going to stay for the duration of the series.

But Sharon's short stay in the house was arguably a huge success, as she entertained the nation by blasting the likes of James Corden and Adele, and swapped numerous celebrity stories with Louis about the likes of their former X Factor boss Simon Cowell.

ITV's other big-money gamble, on Louis, also looks to have paid off, with punters still taking to betting sites to back the music mogul to win the series.

Potts On Top

Louis is now in a two-horse race with Ibiza Weekender star David Potts for CBB victory, but, like some of his former X Factor days, it looks like he could be defeated in the final.

He was the odds-on favourite on Celebrity Big Brother betting apps just a couple of days ago, but David has now taken on that mantle just hours before the show's live finale.

David is 4/9 to win this year's series, from 2/1 in midweek.

Louis and David have effectively swapped places in the market over the past couple of days, with the former X Factor panellist now 5/2 with Bet365 to claim victory, from 8/13 earlier in the week.

On Thursday night's show, the stars were treated to a visit from the outside, with Louis' pal Sinitta making a shock appearance in the house to have a quick chat with him.

The 80s icon told Louis he could win the series, but the former Westlife manager insisted he isn't in it to win it. One CBB star who won't taste victory on the series is Bradley Riches, after he was dealt a cruel blow on Thursday's episode.

Like the other five housemates before him, Bradley headed out to the CBB garden to meet a family member or friend, but host AJ Odudu appeared instead and told him he had been evicted in a savage blow.

Heartstopper star Bradley took it well, but his fellow housemates were devastated.

Nikita's Outside Chance

Nikita Kuzmin was particularly fuming that Bradley had been the victim of a surprise eviction, blasting the decision.

However, the remaining five stars, Louis, David, Nikita, Colson Smith and Fern Britton, were later told they were Celebrity Big Brother finalists.

While it very much looks like being a two-horse race for CBB victory on Friday night, Nikita has an outside chance.

He is 8/1 on specials betting sites to win the series, but he looks more likely to finish in third place.

Elsewhere on betting sites, Fern is the most unlikely to triumph. She is propping up the market at 28/1 with Bet365, despite receiving plenty of public votes throughout the series.

Including Thursday night's backdoor eviction, when Bradley went home with the fewest public votes, Fern has faced four dumpings, but has been saved by the public each time.

She could have an outside chance of victory as a result, but it's more like one of either she or Coronation Street star Colson (25/1) are evicted first in Friday's final.
