Celebrity MasterChef Odds: Dawn O'Porter Early Favourite To Be Kitchen Queen

Celebrity MasterChef will return later this autumn, and there's already a competitive market on betting sites.
All the recent MasterChef talk has been about the judges, with Gregg Wallace and then John Torode stepping down from the show.
The upcoming star-studded series will be John's final foray as a MasterChef judge after he shot the series earlier in the year, alongside new judge Grace Dent.

Kitchen O'Porter
Dawn O'Porter is the early 15/8 favourite on betting apps to win this year's Celebrity MasterChef.
For starters, she is a passionate cook, and previously admitted making meals feels like "therapy" for her.
In 2017, she wrote in Glamour magazine: "Closing my laptop and cooking dinner for my kid and husband is my favourite part of the day.
"I always try new recipes, from pies to omelettes, and I find it really therapeutic: the ingredient shopping, the preparation, the reward of something delicious." - Dawn O'Porter
However, Dawn won't be the only ardent cook in the star-studded kitchen.
Singer Alfie Boe is also keen to show what he can do on Celebrity MasterChef, and gravy is highly likely to feature in some of his dishes.
Last year, Boe told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I absolutely love to cook. My speciality is Sunday roast. Proper duck fat or dripping for the roast potatoes, and I’m mad about gravy.
"I use the vegetable water and pan scrapings, and add red wine and sherry, so it’s really rich. I tour with gravy, and even have it on my rider. It started as a joke, but now I always travel with a tub of Bisto."

MasterChef Superfan Michelle
Fellow singer Michelle Heaton is also no stranger to the kitchen.
In May, a source told The Sun that Michelle is a "big fan" of the show, adding: "As a personal trainer, she’s also really into healthy eating and wants to show the public that food can be delicious and still really good for you."
She also has past experience of cooking on screen.
Michelle has featured several times on the Just Add Mushrooms YouTube channel, in which she guided viewers through her favourite mushroom-focused meals.
She heads into the series as 5/2 third favourite on entertainment betting sites, narrowly in front of Hollyoaks legend Jamie Lomas (3/1) and ex-Love Island star Uma Jammeh (10/3).
A source previously told The Sun that ex-EastEnders star Jamie is "actually quite good in the kitchen", and Uma once admitted on Instagram she has previously worked in a kitchen.
Ashley Cain is 7/2 to taste success on this year's Celebrity MasterChef.
When announcing his participation in the upcoming series, Ashley admitted on Instagram that his show stint will be "interesting".
But he seemed positive, adding: "I can’t wait for you to see how I get on."
Elsewhere, Gladiators star Jodie Ounsley, who is known as Fury in the BBC show, likes to cook - but she loves to use her air fryer.
In January, she told The Guardian newspaper: "The only cookbooks I’ve got are for my air fryer. And I’ve been quite impressed: you can put crumbled cornflakes on chicken and it tastes like KFC - but much more healthy.
"And it’s really handy if you’re constantly on the go. You can quickly put some chicken on or even make omelettes in it, which saves so much time."
Hughes' Brief Stint?
While Jodie enjoys her chicken and eggs, Chris Hughes has a penchant for spaghetti hoops.
The former Love Island star took part in Celebrity Big Brother in April, and while most will remember him for getting close to his now-girlfriend, singer and dancer JoJo Siwa, throughout the ITV series, one of his comments went viral.
In one episode, fellow housemate Ella Rae Wise asked Chris if he wanted anything added on the house's shopping list, and the star - who was in the bath at the time - simply said: "I just want spaghetti hoops. That's all I want."
Ella replied: "Any fruit?" But he insisted: "No, just spaghetti hoops. Thank you."
Announcing his Celebrity MasterChef stint on social media, Chris wrote on Instagram: "It’s INTERESTING, that’s all I’ll say.
"Excited to be in the MasterChef kitchen for the new series! Hope you cooking fans enjoy (sic)."
Coronation Street actor and Chris' fellow CBB housemate Jack P Shepherd - who won this year's Celebrity Big Brother - replied: "A La Carte spaghetti hoops."
Chris' brother Ben wrote on Instagram: "Beans on toast anyone," so it doesn't sound too promising for Chris (10/1).

He might also face an early exit, but the BBC is yet to reveal who will compete in the first episode.
Antony Costa also posted on Instagram about taking part in Celebrity MasterChef, and one of his pals commented:
"Finally, we can talk about it now what a journey, proud." - Antony Costa
While the comment could refer to his career journey, it also suggests he may be in the competition for the long-haul.
He is 5/1 for victory, just in front of former Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn (11/2).
In May, a source told The Sun: "Katie is all about making healthy, balanced meals and wanted to see how far she could push her cooking skills on a show like MasterChef."
Elsewhere, former Wales rugby union captain Alun Wyn Jones is 6/1 to be crowned Celebrity MasterChef champion.
He is said to have taken up cooking during lockdown to stay busy, and he'll no doubt be trying his best to avoid the wooden spoon in the upcoming BBC series.
