The Celebrity MasterChef final is looming and just three stars remain to battle it out on betting sites.

One of singer Wynne Evans, Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh or former Love Island star Luca Bish will be crowned Celebrity MasterChef champion in Friday night's finale.

This week began with a famous five, but singers Jamelia and Max George both got the chop.

Jamelia departed the competition after she failed to serve every component of her Princess Party dish to judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday night's episode, The Wanted singer Max received plenty of praise for his Celebration Cake, but the star just "couldn't compete" with Wynne, Amy and Luca, and confessed he had made it further in the contest than he ever thought possible.

Wynne To Win?

Opera singer Wynne is the new odds-on favourite to triumph on new betting sites after some impressive performances this week.

Wynne is 4/6 to win the competition after he wowed John and Gregg with his Indian-style fish and chips on Tuesday night, and the panellists were left in awe of his "life through lamb" dish during Wednesday night's theatrical showstopper challenge.

The star made six different lamb dishes in one hour and 45 minutes, and John was "blown away" by the effort and taste.

Gregg was also "very, very impressed" with Wynne's exploits, and the singer continued to do well in the second challenge when the stars were tasked with cooking for professional chefs, including Raymond Blanc, Anna Haugh, and Daniel Clifford.

Wynne was put in charge of the dessert, and Raymond commended his cookery, saying it was "so delicate, like his voice".

The star's accomplishments throughout the series have seen him rise to the top of the Celebrity MasterChef market, and Wynne would certainly be a worthy winner.

Luca 'Putting In The Hours'

But Luca isn't far behind Wynne on specials betting sites, and he seems to improve with every episode.

The reality TV star is 6/4 to win the 18th series of Celebrity MasterChef, and he has made no secret of the fact he would love to be victorious.

On Tuesday night, Luca admitted he had been shocked to progress through the first round, but had since been "putting in some hours", and he would love to get his hands on the trophy.

Gregg said his fish stew was "delicious", and John praised Luca's cookery skills, and on Wednesday night, the judges found some more superlatives for the star's Casanova cake, which was full of chocolate and profiteroles.

Gregg commented that his dish was "no ordinary piece of work" and John was "really, really impressed" with the star's efforts.

In the pro chef challenge, Luca made the main, for which he had to finely cut and scrape all of the fat and meat from the bone of a Welsh salt marsh lamb.

Chef Daniel said his cooking was "10 out of 10" and Raymond insisted he could have a job in any of the pro chefs' kitchens.

Luca admitted it was the best feedback he'd ever received in his life, for anything, and it will no doubt give him a boost ahead of Friday night's final.

Amy Could Overcome Odds

Soap star Amy is third favourite (2/1) to win the competition on betting apps, but it would be no surprise whatsoever if she triumphed on Friday night.

Before the final five was whittled down to a three, the actress was favourite to win this year's Celebrity MasterChef.

But Amy struggled on Tuesday night by pushing herself too hard, and her chocolate shortcrust tart with mint meringue didn't turn out as she had intended.

John said she could've been more elegant, and Gregg admitted there was an issue with textures and that her dish "wasn't perfect".

However, she more than bounced back on Wednesday night with her upside down afternoon tea, where the savoury-looking delicacies tasted like sweet treats and vice-versa.

John couldn't find fault with it, and Gregg said it was "brilliantly well done".

Later in the pro chef challenge, Amy executed her pasta starter course to perfection, and Gregg said she should be "proud of herself".

All three stars were bursting with pride at reaching the final, and it will no doubt be a tough decision for John and Gregg to pick a winner.
