Celebrity Traitors Odds: Wilkinson New Favourite, Marler Tipped To Be A Traitor

The BBC has confirmed the 19 stars who will take part in the first-ever Celebrity Traitors series.
Traitors superfan Stephen Fry, Olympian Tom Daley, TV presenter Jonathan Ross and Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway have all pre-recorded the star-studded BBC series, which is set in Scotland's Ardross Castle.
Reaction to some of the stars' social media posts to the cast confirmation has resulted in market changes on UK betting sites.
However, some opted against even posting about being part of the Celebrity Traitors line-up - were they keen to keep a low profile following the BBC's big revelation?
Kate and Jonathan were among those to keep quiet on socials in the first 12 hours since the line-up was confirmed.
Those who did confirm their appearance shared a Traitors trailer, and show host Claudia Winkleman has insisted the BBC show won't be taking things easy on the stars.
She said: "We’re incredibly lucky these brilliant people have said yes.
"I’d love to say we’ll take it easy on them and they’ll just wander round the castle and eat toast for a couple of weeks but that would be a lie."
Joe And The Castle
Comedian Joe Wilkinson is the 6/4 favourite on betting apps to win this year's Celebrity Traitors after he received the backing of a former Traitors star.
Joe shared the trailer for the new series, which will kick off this autumn, but he clearly didn't want to arouse suspicion, so he didn't include a caption at all.
However, former Traitors star Paul Gorton has predicted Joe could be the overall winner. He commented: "AND THE WINNERRRRR".
A fan wrote: "Joe either wins the whole thing or gets banished on the first day, there is no in between."
Other market moves have seen EastEnders actress Tameka Empson - who plays Kim Fox in the BBC One soap - cut into 2/1 from 6/1 to be this year's winner.
She wrote on Instagram: "Ok people! The secret is out and sincere apologies to my family, @officialdianeparish @zaraah_a @ralphbogard my friends (too many to mention) but yes it’s true! TRAITORS - DO ME A FAVOUR! Stay tuned! DA..DA,DA DA DA..DA DA DA DA.. DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DAAAAAA (the theme tune if you didn’t get it) (sic)".
Tameka's EastEnders co-star Diane Parish commented: "She has yet to be forgiven. My face the past 3 weeks without my BFF.
Taking this Traitor thing waaaaaay too far mate. You best win or I really will never forgive you for taking a leave of absence without telling me!
Side note: I love her still and …. COME ON TAMEKA! (sic)".

Does Diane's "three weeks" comment suggest Tameka goes far in this year's inaugural Celebrity Traitors series?
It wouldn't be a huge surprise.

Not Keeping The Faith
Paloma Faith has lengthened in price to win Celebrity Traitors, after her announcement post.
She shared the Celebrity Traitors trailer on her Instagram page, but she simply wrote: "Oh dear".
Might this be a hint that things didn't go too well in the castle?
She has drifted to 6/1 from 10/3 to be victorious, but she has also been knocked off favouritism when it comes to potentially being picked as a Traitor.
Former England rugby player Joe Marler is the new Evens favourite to be a Traitor after he posted a kitchen knife emoji while sharing the Celebrity Traitors trailer.
Could that suggest he stabs someone in the back in the show, as a Traitor?
He's come in from 5/1 to be one of the team of cloaks, and Clare Balding's price has also been cut.
The broadcaster, whose odds of winning the show have been slashed to 6/1, wrote on Instagram: "I haven’t been able to talk about where I’ve been, what I’ve been doing or who with until now. I can’t talk about what happened but I can say - what an experience. #TheCelebrityTraitors".
One fan commented: "If I was a producer I’d make you Traitor no 1", but Clare is yet to reply to the message.
Charlotte's Social Return
Elsewhere, singer Charlotte Church is 3/1 to win Celebrity Traitors and 7/4 fourth favourite to be a Traitor.
The Traitors announcement saw Church return to X for the first time since late March.
She shared posts about the Celebrity Traitors line-up, but only added emojis, including one of a castle, as she kept fans guessing.
Former Line of Duty star Mark Bonnar is a 9/1 outsider to win the show.
He may well have picked up plenty of detective tips from the BBC's police procedural series, and, therefore, he could be ousted early.

After he shared the upcoming Celebrity Traitors trailer, comedian Aisling Bea joked: "Obsessed. I’ve always thought of you as a Judas backstabber."
Mark replied with a beaming face emoji.
Actor Ruth Codd could go far in the show after she joked about "descending into lunacy" amid the series.
She wrote on Instagram: "Tune in this Autumn to watch my further decent into lunacy".
Ruth is a 4/1 shot to win the series, just below iconic actress Celia Imrie (15/8) and Olympic diving star Tom Daley (2/1).
