Tottenham v Marseille, Wednesday 8pm
Tottenham are back in the Champions League after two seasons away and tonight they welcome Marseille to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The draw has been kind to Spurs as Europa League champions Eintracht Frankfurt and Sporting CP make up the rest of Group D, but Antonio Conte will be keen to see his side get points on the board early.
While Spurs remain unbeaten this season, it has been rather surprising to see a Conte-led outfit leak five goals in the six games they’ve played. However, you’d still expect Tottenham’s superior firepower to tell here.
Marseille, for their part, have a who’s-who of ex-Premier League talent - Alexis Sanchez, Eric Bailly, Dimitri Payet and Matteo Guendouzi to name just a few. They currently sit level on points with PSG on top of Ligue 1, so they’ll be no pushovers and don’t be shocked if the French side get on the scoresheet in this one.

Napoli vs Liverpool, Wednesday 8pm
Liverpool have picked up just two wins from their opening six league games and kick off their Champions League campaign with the toughest fixture in their group if the match odds on football betting sites are anything to go by.
