Cheltenham Festival 2025: Get Your Tips Out’s Treble For Day 3
This treble for Cheltenham on Thursday just seems to jump off the page.
Again we have targeted the two big races of the day in the Ryanair Chase and the Stayers’ Hurdle, and also have a really confident play in one of the handicaps.
Paying around 25/1 with LiveScore Bet it definitely looks worth covering, especially as our record on the third day of the Cheltenham Festival has been profitable looking back at previous years.

15:20: Ryanair Chase - Fact To File
It was hard not to be impressed with the way Fact To File won on return.
He had the likes of Spillane’s Tower and Gold Cup hero Galopin Des Champs in behind and kept on strongly in the closing stages.
Things haven’t worked out up in trip since but he hasn’t been disgraced and remains a high class horse.
Back down to two and a half miles here should prove ideal and he can get firmly back on track.
The French horse Il Est Francais will go hard but he has bled in the past and I don’t think he’ll enjoy the undulations at Cheltenham so should help set it up for the selection.
16:00: Stayers' Hurdle - Teahupoo
Even though there has been market weakness I can’t get away from Teahupoo defending his crown here.
He won going away last year before cementing his status as the best stayer around at Punchestown.
He was beaten on return at Fairyhouse but at the hands of Lossiemouth and over an inadequate trip.
His trainer Gordon Elliott has always said he is best fresh so the lack of a run doesn’t bother me at all and whatever the market does here.
I’m strongly with him to win the race again. It wouldn’t surprise me to see stablemate The Wallpark run on for second to give Elliott a one-two in the race.
16:40: Festival Plate - Jagwar
The way Jagwar won on Trials Day was impressive and he is now three from four over fences.
He has looked really progressive and despite a further 7lb rise should have a massive chance of winning this.
He is such a strong travelling horse and he jumps well so this scenario should be right up his street.
In such a big field you always need luck in-running and hopefully he doesn’t get too far back but he is deservedly favourite and I think he’ll turn into quite a gamble as his claims looks glaringly obvious to me.
Masaccio was behind him last time but if jumping better in first-time cheekpieces could chase him home here.
