Cooking With The Stars Odds: Four Contenders Remain On ITV Show

Cooking With The Stars' quarter-final was an eventful one, with another one of the favourites on betting sites sent home.

Radio DJ Jordan North had emerged as a strong contender to win this year's series, but his cooks went south during Family Favourites Week.

'Nervous' Jack Remains Frontrunner

Jordan sat out the first stage of the competition, which saw a three-way battle between media personality Jack Osbourne - the son of the late, great musician Ozzy Osbourne - EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy and interior designer Kelly Hoppen.

Jack admitted he was "nervous" about cooking a vegetable potato cake with poached egg, because he "really, really" wanted to get it right.

Despite his concerns, he received decent feedback, apart from a couple of lumps of potato in his cake.

Natalie confessed her chicken and waffles cook was her "most stressful" one yet on the ITV show.

Sonia Fowler wasn't sure if she had put baking powder into her waffle mixture during her cook, and that nearly let her down.

Professional chef and show judge Rosemary Shrager found the waffle dry and said it "didn't taste of anything", and fellow judge Poppy O'Toole said the waffle was "a bit chewy".

Despite this, both Natalie and Jack went through, and Kelly was sent into the cook-off.

Following his early-episode progress, Jack remains favourite on betting apps to win this year's series - but there's not much in it.

He is into 11/10 for culinary victory, but Natalie isn't far behind at 5/4.

Wright-Phillips Thrashes North

The other match saw former England footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips take on Jordan.

Shaun did enough with his fish tostadas with crispy goujons, despite Tony Singh saying his tostadas were "a little bit tough".

Chef Michael Caines had a mixed reaction to Wright-Phillips' effort, resembling a football manager by saying the star was "on his game", but Michael wanted more.

In the other half of the kitchen, Jordan found it "tough" making his king prawn mac and cheese with garlic flatbread.

It didn't start well when he was gagging while deveining his prawns, but his sauce was his major downfall with the judges.

Shaun secured a 4-0 win, sending Jordan into the cook-off.

Following Wright-Phillips' victory, he is now into 2/1 third favourite to clinch this year's Cooking With The Stars trophy.

Hoppen Propping Up Outright Market

Kelly is propping up the outright market at 11/4, and she is the 6/4 favourite to be out next in Sunday's semi-final.

However, she seemed happy enough to still be in the competition at the beginning of the quarter-final.

Ahead of her three-way battle with Natalie and Jack, Kelly admitted she felt like "a fraud" in the competition.

She later burned her rice, admitted the cook was "so stressful", and said during the battle: "I'm definitely going into the cook-off."

However, Kelly triumphed in the cook-off, in which she and Jordan were tasked with making fully loaded cheesecake waffle cones.

While she struggled to get her honeycomb to work, the judges decided her plate was the best, meaning a "gutted" Jordan was sent home.

On Sunday, the remaining four famous faces will take part in the show's semi-final - Healthy Eating Week.
