Dafabet Names Kevin Pietersen As Global Brand Ambassador

Dafabet has announced former England international Kevin Pietersen MBE as its new Global Brand Ambassador, strengthening the operator's connection with cricket audiences around the world.
In his new role, Pietersen will contribute expert perspectives, behind-the-scenes insights and engaging content for fans across Dafabet's platforms, giving followers of the sport a direct line to one of the most recognisable names in the modern game.
The appointment underlines Dafabet's focus on cricket, one of the most widely followed sports on the planet, and pairs the brand with a player whose career spanned Test cricket, the one-day game and the franchise circuit.
A Cricketing Heavyweight
Few players carry the profile Pietersen does. The South Africa-born batter played 104 Tests for England, scoring 8,181 runs at an average of 47.28 with 23 centuries. He added 4,440 runs in One Day Internationals and 1,176 in T20 Internationals.
His breakout moment came in the 2005 Ashes. After making his Test debut at Lord's, he struck a maiden century of 158 at The Oval and finished as the series' leading run-scorer with 473 runs at an average of 52.55, helping England win the urn.
Pietersen also played a central role in England's 2010 T20 World Cup triumph, the country's first ICC trophy, where he was named Player of the Series after scoring 248 runs at an average of 62.00.
His highest Test score, 227, came at Adelaide during the 2010-11 Ashes, and he briefly captained England's Test and one-day sides in 2008.
🌟 Delighted to announce that I’m joining the Dafabet family as their Global Brand Ambassador! 🌟Looking forward to some exciting collaborations, exclusive behind-the-scenes moments, and plenty more to come. Stay tuned!#Dafabet #BrandAmbassador #KP https://t.co/NnsY4fupAw

Why The Appointment Matters
For a sports betting brand targeting a global cricket audience, Pietersen offers credibility that few can match.
His career stretched beyond international cricket into the Indian Premier League, where he represented Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils among other franchises, and he has stayed close to the game since retiring, most recently serving as mentor of Delhi Capitals for IPL 2025.
Pietersen announced in January 2018 that he would retire from all forms of cricket at the end of that season, while his last England Test appearance came against Australia in January 2014.
More recently, Pietersen was part of England's white ball coaching team.

What Fans Can Expect
Cricket fans increasingly expect more than a famous face from the sporting figures they follow. Pietersen's role is built around insight and access: the kind of expert analysis and behind-the-scenes content that tends to resonate with supporters, particularly during major tournaments and series.
With his experience of Test, one-day and T20 cricket at the highest level, Pietersen is well placed to speak to every type of fan, from those who grew up on the Ashes to those following the franchise game around the world.
Supporters will be able to follow Pietersen's contributions across Dafabet's platforms as the partnership gets under way.
