Lazio Vs Napoli, Sunday 11.30am
Given all the drama of Napoli’s second season under Antonio Conte, you would be forgiven for thinking their chances of defending their title have already been torpedoed if you were just to judge by the coach’s manner.
Yet, they are doing a much better job of defending their crown than they did in 2023/24, and Napoli begin 2026 only two points off the top with a raft of injured players to return.
Lazio represent a tough first challenge of the calendar for them, though, despite being well adrift of the battle for the top four after restrictions on signing players in the first half of the season.
They give little away, and four of their last six have landed under 1.5 total goals, while Napoli have often looked blunt on the road of late, despite the win at Cremonese to close out 2025.
Andy's Panel Selection 1: Lazio Vs Napoli: Under 1.5 Goals - 13/8 With Grosvenor
Andy Brassell's Weekend Tips:

Everton Vs Brentford, Sunday 3.00pm
The win at Nottingham Forest was the perfect cap on a calendar year that has been transformative for Everton, with David Moyes’ second spell in charge demolishing all the cliches about never going back to the scene of previous triumphs.
They were, characteristically, organised and full of wit at the City Ground, and there is now an opportunity to be seized.
Home games against Brentford and Wolves in the coming days give the Toffees an ideal chance to push towards the top six, with Sunderland, Manchester United and an in-flux Chelsea team directly above them.
Brentford have lost seven of their nine Premier League games away from home and will have to produce something special to stand in the way of Moyes and company.
Andy's Panel Selection 2: Everton Vs Brentford: Everton Win - 7/5 With Grosvenor
Real Madrid Vs Real Betis, Sunday 3:15pm
Real Madrid’s form ahead of signing off for their mini-winter break was gently encouraging (and it can only ever be conditional in an environment where they are one result away from a crisis).
Since successive home defeats to Celta Vigo and Manchester City, which looked like finishing off the Xabi Alonso era, Real have picked up and are still in touch with Barcelona at the summit.
Yet, the hammer blow of losing Kylian Mbappe for the next three weeks, after he suffered a knee injury, will show us exactly how much the prolific France captain has been papering over significant cracks.
Betis, who draw too many games but are still pushing towards the top five, are the only remaining side unbeaten away in La Liga and, as such, are among the trickier opponents Madrid could face on their return.
Andy's Panel Selection 3: Real Madrid Vs Real Betis: Betis/Draw Double Chance - 15/8 With Grosvenor
Andy's weekend treble pays out at around 16/1 with Grosvenor.
