Andy Brassell's Weekend Football Tips Including Manchester United Vs Bournemouth

European football expert Andy Brassell is back to share his three best selections for this weekend's action across Europe's top leagues using the latest odds from LiveScoreBet.
Andy has been a writer and broadcaster on European football for 20 years, featuring on TalkSPORT, On The Continent, The Guardian, Sky Sports and TNT Sports.
Manchester United Vs Bournemouth, Sunday 2pm
It didn’t look like a bad start to the season could get much worse for Manchester United but it did at Como in the Champions League, with the disagreements between Michael Carrick and Bruno Fernandes adding to the feeling that the season is already falling apart.
Much of this must carry caveats; after what happened on the lake on Wednesday night, we can’t be sure that Carrick will make it until Sunday. Bournemouth, on the other hand, have reason to be optimistic.
League Comparison
Position | Team | Played | Points | GD |
13th | Man United | 7 | 7 | 0 |
15th | Bournemouth | 7 | 6 | -4 |
They are finally off the mark in the Premier League - though, in truth, the performances had been better than results under Marco Rose - and it feels like their premier European adventure is inspiring rather than hindering them.
Add to that Evanilson finding the way to goal and more misery looms for United, who start as favourites on betting apps.

Freiburg Vs Bayern Munich, Sunday 2.30pm
We backed Freiburg to come back from their trip to Leverkusen with something last week and they were unlucky not to do so.
A dose of that missing fortune against the Rekordmeister would be very welcome and perhaps they already have it in terms of personnel.
League Comparison
Position | Team | Played | Points | GD |
1st | Bayern Munich | 6 | 14 | +17 |
3rd | Freiburg | 6 | 13 | +9 |
Luis Diaz won’t make the trip after sustaining a muscle injury in his Champions League cameo against Arsenal, though Michael Olise does return from a European suspension.
One also wonders if Julian Schuster might be moved to offer a start to Freiburg club legend Vincenzo Grifo, a master from set pieces, having seen Bayern struggle with a few such situations against the Premier League champs.
Andy's Panel Selection 2: Freiburg Vs Bayern Munich: Both Teams To Score - 7/20 With LiveScoreBet

PSG Vs Lyon, Sunday 7.45pm
There can be few doubts that Paris Saint-Germain are the best team in Europe after their two dazzling Champions League displays of the last 10 days, dispatching firstly Manchester City and now Barcelona, two of their direct competitors, by putting four goals past each.
Tuesday’s win over Barca put a large fly in the ointment, though, with the incomparable Kvicha Kvaratskhelia sustaining a knee injury which will keep him out for more of the remainder of the season.
League Comparison
Position | Team | Played | Points | GD |
1st | Lyon | 7 | 14 | +8 |
2nd | PSG | 7 | 14 | +5 |
Add the injuries from the same game which will keep out Marquinhos and Ousmane Dembele and even such a well-furnished team have issues ahead of welcoming a Lyon team that arrive atop Ligue 1.
Despite their financial issues Paulo Fonseca’s team still have plenty of quality and the depth from the bench to go the distance in this one, even if they are missing their starting striker Lois Openda.
