English football’s most misunderstood rivalry, the A23 derby, is always one to relish and this edition is even more so, with both having started the season well.
After a couple of recent (and narrow) away defeats, Palace are in a slightly unflattering ninth place but that doesn’t really tell the whole story.
They have won twice since being edged out 1-0 at Arsenal and are only three points off second-placed Manchester City.

Sometimes the sight test just has its limits. The table shows Roma in a very decent fourth place and just a point from the summit.
If Paulo Dybala had made - rather than missed - a late penalty at Milan last weekend, we would be talking about the joint leaders of Serie A.
However, it has all felt a little underwhelming so far under Gian Piero Gasperini, even if they are solid.

Ten goals in 10 league games so far makes it clear where their problems lie, and now they are without the injured Dybala’s creative spark.
Add an improving Udinese, with their ex-Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo starting to find form and ready to bite back at a club that he left acrimoniously, this could be much tougher for the men from the capital.

Andy Brassell's Tip 3: Lyon Vs PSG: Sunday, 7.45pm
One of the blue riband fixtures of the Ligue 1 calendar, this match-up has taken a beating in recent years, much like many of Paris Saint-Germain’s supposed domestic rivalries, for obvious reasons.
Lyon have won one of their last 10 encounters with them, and cut two-thirds of their wage bill in the summer.
However, they have been much grittier and more productive than expected under Paulo Fonseca.

Crucially, they could be catching PSG at the right time, with Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes and Ousmane Dembele all missing after picking up injuries in the midweek Champions League loss to Bayern Munich.
It is too much to call Lyon favourites, but they will rarely have a better chance of getting a result against the ogres of the French game.
