Eurovision 2025 Odds: Will The UK Get Fewer Than 100 Points?

Country-pop trio Remember Monday have been hitting the campaign trail hard of late, ahead of representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final.
The trio will take to the stage in Basel, Switzerland, on May 17 with their catchy tune What The Hell Just Happened?.
The United Kingdom have struggled in the last two Eurovision Song Contests, earning 46 and 24 points respectively, leading to concerns it could be a hat-trick of underwhelming scores.
However, perhaps Remember Monday are starting to stick in people's minds - for the right reasons - ahead of the Grand Final.
While the United Kingdom are now a best priced 150/1 on some betting sites to win this year's Eurovision, those odds are lower than their previous best price of 175/1, in March.
And some bookmakers are only offering 66/1 for the UK to triumph.
While that is still a big price, the odds suggest they could have an increased chance of breaching the 100-point barrier at this year's Eurovision.
Never Give Up, Remember Monday
At 150/1, the UK are around 14th favourites on betting apps to win this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
While that would still be a huge ask, they could at least earn more than 100 points this time around.
Aside from Sam Ryder's whopping 466 points in 2022, when he finished second, the last time the UK reached triple figures was in 2017, when Lucie Jones' Never Give Up on You earned the nation 111 points and a 15th place finish.
And with the UK inside the top 15 to triumph in the contest, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if they made it to a century of points.
It's now into 13/8, from 4/1, for the UK to receive between 101 and 200 points.
Eurovision 2025 Odds: How Many Points Will The UK Receive?
Points | Odds | Probability |
1-100 | 8/11 | 57.9% |
101-200 | 13/8 | 38.1% |
0 | 5/2 | 28.6% |
201 -300 | 5/1 | 16.7% |
300+ | 7/1 | 12.5% |
However, history isn't exactly on their side.
In the last 10 years of Eurovision, from 2014 to 2024 - excluding 2020, because the event was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic - the UK have averaged 81.3 points over the 10 ceremonies.
An anomaly of those figures is Ryder's huge haul for Space Man in 2022.
Sam's second-placed score was more than the UK's overall points total of 347 in the other nine ceremonies combined.
If you take Space Man out of the equation, the UK have averaged just 38.5 points in the last 10 years of Eurovision.
Nul Points? No Thanks
Despite this, some bookmakers are offering around 66/1 on the UK winning the whole thing, meaning they are around joint-12th favourites with those bookies.
If the UK were to finish in 12th or higher, this would give them a decent chance of hitting that 101-points or more mark.
They should at least score one point.
Remember Monday are out to 5/2, from Evens, to receive the dreaded 'nul points'.
The last UK act who failed to trouble the scoreboard was James Newman.
He was due to represent the UK at Eurovision 2020, until the ceremony was cancelled, but in 2021 he was re-selected.
However, it was a disaster, as James finished in 26th place with zero points.
Eurovision 2025 Odds: Who Will Give The UK The Most Points?
Nation | Odds | Probability |
Ireland | 6/4 | 40% |
Austria | 2/1 | 33.3% |
Belgium | 3/1 | 25% |
Portugal | 7/2 | 22.2% |
France | 4/1 | 20% |
Germany | 4/1 | 20% |
Sweden | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Switzerland | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Israel | 8/1 | 11.1% |
That doesn't look like being repeated this year, because the UK are now 8/11, from 2/7, to receive between 1 and 100 points.
While that outcome remains favourite, there are further positive signs for the UK, who have also been cut to 7/1 for 300 or more points, and 5/1 to earn between 201 and 300 points.
Please Give Generously, Ireland
One country the UK will be relying on to ensure they avoid the dreaded nul points are Ireland.
The Emerald Isle have given the most points to the UK over the course of the Eurovision Song Contest, with 209, and the UK's neighbours are 6/4 favourites to be generous benefactors at this year's contest, too.
Austria are 2/1 second favourites to be the UK's best contributor on the night, followed by Belgium (3/1).

The UK have also given generously to Ireland over the years, contributing 227 points to the Emerald Isle in total, but they have actually given more points (228) to Sweden.
Sweden are 4/6 favourites to receive the UK's 12 points again this year, and they are also favourites to win the 2025 Grand Final.
While the UK gave Ireland seven points last year, they didn't award any points to the country in 2023, 2022, 2021 or 2019.
