Game Week 32 presents Fantasy Premier League managers with plenty of dilemmas, with just eight fixtures being played between Friday and Sunday.
It’s FA Cup semi-final weekend which means there are no top-flight matches for Manchester United, Manchester City, Brighton and Chelsea (the latter aren’t in the FA Cup but still don’t have a game).
Many FPL managers (like myself) have been targeting GW32 for their Free Hit chip although it depends on the overall make-up of your squad.
It’s a Game Week where Arsenal and Liverpool assets are certainly likely to be popular due to them having favourable fixtures.

When is the Game Week 32 Transfer Deadline?
We’ve got an early Fantasy Premier League transfer deadline this week, with 6.30pm on Friday, April 21, being the cut-off time to make changes due to Arsenal’s clash against Southampton that evening. Don’t get caught out!
Should I Play My Free Hit in Game Week 32?
That’s the real quiz! If you still have your Free Hit chip remaining, then there are two decent options. Activate it in GW32 or GW34.
Game Week 32 sees United, City, Brighton and Chelsea blanking. Game Week 34 sees Brighton, Liverpool, City and United having a double. It all comes down to how your current team looks.
The big advantage to “Free Hitting” in GW32 is that you can load your team with Liverpool and Arsenal assets for easy-looking home fixtures.
However, if you are able to field upwards of nine players without playing this chip, it could be worth waiting for GW34.
Which Players Should Be in My Game Week 32 Free Hit Team?
Liverpool
Liverpool’s 6-1 win at Elland Road will have FPL managers looking at their players for an attractive home clash against Liverpool.
MOHAMED SALAH (£12.8m) scored a hefty 14 points against Leeds United and looks like the number one pick for any Free Hit team, with TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD (£7.4m) also catching the eye against Leeds.
TAA seemed to spend the majority of the game occupying the central midfield position and he was able to conjure two assists, while there’s the obvious possibility of a clean sheet against a shot-shy Nottingham Forest team.
This also brings ANDY ROBERTSON (£6.8m) into contention and he can also bring attacking returns.
Beyond the above trio, CODY GAKPO (£7.6m) could make appeal as a midfield considering he seems to be first-choice centre forward for Liverpool, while DIOGO JOTA (£8.7m) was able to bag a brace against Leeds and those five players are all good for the shortlist.
Arsenal
Arsenal kick-off Game Week 32 with a clash against Southampton at the Emirates Stadium.
This match clearly has the potential for big attacking returns from the Gunners, with GABRIEL JESUS (£8.2m) having returned from injury with a bang and the Brazilian has scored 26 FPL points in his past three GW’s which means he has to be on the radar.
Since scoring 18 points against Crystal Palace, BUKAYO SAKA (£8.6m) has been a frustrating player to own, although his 40% ownership could mean it’s dangerous to avoid the England man.
Nevertheless, GABRIEL MARTINELLI (£6.9m) is proving to be a more popular Game Week 32 selection and he’s been a more reliable provider of points in recent games.
Other Teams
If you’re playing your Free Hit in Game Week 32, it’s all about identifying players who can score well in a one-off match.
Although Aston Villa have a relatively tricky clash at Brentford, it’s surely impossible to leave out OLLIE WATKINS (£7.7m) who is enjoying the richest vein of scoring form for his team right now.
A 16-point haul against Newcastle means that he should be one of your strikers for the weekend.
If you have room for DOMINIC SOLANKE (£5.5m), then the Bournemouth forward could be a decent shout after amassing 15 points against Tottenham last week.
The Cherries face West Ham this Game Week and the one Hammers asset worthy of consideration is JARROD BOWEN (£8.0m) who has scored 18 points in his past three Game Weeks.
Bowen is listed as a midfielder and another attractive player in this department is EBERECHI EZE (£5.5m) who looks set to be a best seller this week.
The Crystal Palace midfielder comes into Saturday’s clash against Everton having scored 8-point and 16-point hauls against Leeds and Southampton respectively, with the Toffees potentially easy prey.
JAMES MADDISON (£8.1m) has not delivered for Leicester City in the past few weeks and it’s easy to see why managers are shunning the England midfielder.
It’s been a series of two-pointers although a home clash against Wolves could see his fortunes transformed, with IVAN TONEY (£7.7m) also a good forward option despite facing an in-form Villa.

Which Teams Have the Best FPL Fixtures Beyond GW32?
There are FPL managers who will have either used their Free Hit chip or decide to hold fire, with this being a normal Game Week with either one or two free transfers to use.
We’ve already highlighted some great GW32 options, although LIVERPOOL assets are worth considering on a longer-term basis.
After a home clash against Nottingham Forest, the Reds then travel to West Ham before an Anfield double header against Tottenham and Fulham in Game Week 34.
They then have another home match against Brentford in GW35 and it’s worth maxing out on their assets should their strong form continue.
MANCHESTER CITY players are relatively fixture-proof and they follow the blank in GW32 with that crunch clash against Arsenal.
Then comes a Double Game Week in 34 where Fulham (a) and West Ham (h) are the opposition before an attractive home clash against Leeds United and a triple up might be required here.
You should also be looking to keep hold of BRIGHTON players in your FPL team based on their upcoming fixture schedule.
After the Seagulls’ FA Cup commitments, Roberto De Zerbi’s side are away to Nottingham Forest before a Double Game Week which includes home fixtures against Wolves and Manchester United before a home clash against Everton.
Who Should Be Captain For Game Week 32?
There are lots of viable captaincy options for FPL Game Week 32 and none of them are Erling Haaland!
Perhaps managers will return to their old favourite Mohamed Salah who should be capable of a bumper haul against a Nottingham Forest team who have conceded thirty-six goals in their fifteen away games.
The other Liverpool asset worthy of consideration is Trent Alexander-Arnold who will spend the majority of the ninety minutes in an attacking position and this could be a cheat code for a player who will pick up clean sheet points if Forest fail to score.
However, Arsenal’s home game against Southampton could mean a cricket score for the Gunners and that brings Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus into play.
Saka has gone off the boil FPL-wise and we’d be tempted to give the in-form Jesus the armband if you’re looking to captain a player from this team.
