Glorious Goodwood Betting: The Panel's 3 Each-Way Selections For The Festival

Glorious Goodwood always serves up high-class racing for punters to get stuck into and The Panel have picked out three each-way bets to consider this week.

The five-day spectacular features Group One action on each of the opening three afternoons.

However, we're looking at some other competitive contests to find value wagers on the best betting sites.

The Panel's Best Each-Way Bets For Glorious Goodwood

Tuesday 13:20 Coral Chesterfield Cup Handicap - Tony Montana - 0.5pts Each-Way

Michael Bell's gelding failed to shine in the Royal Hunt Cup, but it wasn't really a surprise to see everything happen just a bit too fast for Tony Montana over a mile at Royal Ascot.

Stepping back up to 10 furlongs is a welcome boost and he has also shown a liking for this track on a couple of past occasions.

He battled on bravely to finish third of 17 in this very same race 12 months ago and kicked off the current campaign with a course and distance second to well-backed favourite Sir Lowry's Pass.

That was followed by another rock-solid runner-up effort at York and it may pay to keep the faith with the Amo Racing-owned son of Kingman despite last month's moderate Ascot showing.

Wednesday 14:30 HKJC World Pool Molecomb Stakes - Argentine Tango - 0.5pts Each-Way

Sensational St James's Palace Stakes winner Field Of Gold is the star attraction on day two of the Qatar Goodwood Festival as he goes for Sussex Stakes glory but we're eyeing an upset in the race before via Tim Easterby's Yorkshire raider.

Battle-hardened juvenile Argentine Tango has already tasted success at Pontefract, Beverley and Newmarket, as well as twice running well in defeat behind the smart Venetian Sun.

That pair were first and second at Carlisle in May and recently renewed rivalry in the Group Two Duchess of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket, when Karl Burke's hotpot came through to complete a hat-trick, having landed Royal Ascot's Albany Stakes in between.

Six furlongs proved a touch too far for Argentine Tango on the July Course at HQ but she showed up well for a long way before fading into third late on, which makes dropping down to five furlongs here an interesting move.

Highly-rated Irish raider Lady Iman looks a worthy favourite in a competitive renewal of this Group Three event.

However, our selection has done little wrong in six outings so far and feels overpriced at double-figure odds with the top horse racing betting sites.

Thursday 13:20 Coral Kincsem Handicap - Parole d'Oro - 0.5pts Each-Way

We're keen on another Fitzroy House inmate for veteran trainer Bell in Thursday's opener, as this lightly-raced three-year-old has been in the notebook for some time and is overdue a big triumph.

An Epsom winner as a juvenile at around this time last term, the son of Without Parole started out this season with an eye-catching second at Thirsk behind Teroomm, who subsequently went on to claim a valuable victory at Haydock.

Parole d'Oro was quietly fancied for the Britannia Stakes handicap at Royal Ascot but repeatedly found trouble in running under Callum Shepherd before keeping on to be eighth of 30.

He then went down by just a short head at Newmarket when again doing his best work late on.

Now moving up to 10 furlongs for the first time only adds to his appeal in our Glorious Goodwood 2025 tips, with 9/1 currently available at some of the best betting apps.
