Grammy Awards 2025 Odds: Eilish And Carpenter To Bash Brits' Dreams

The 67th annual Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles tonight, as music's best do battle for a plethora of prizes.
Charli XCX is the best of British in terms of the nominations after receiving seven nods, and even The Beatles have a nomination this year.
However, Stateside is a tough place to go to bring Gramophone trophies back to the UK.
While Beyonce is the most-nominated artist in the history of the Grammy Awards with a record 99 - after earning 11 nods ahead of this year's ceremony - Billie Eilish looks set to win two big gongs on the night if betting sites are anything to go by.
Billie's Brace
Billie's record Hit Me Hard and Soft is the 8/11 favourite on betting apps to land this year's Album of the Year at the Grammys.
Taylor Swift scooped last year's coveted prize for Midnights, making it her fourth win in the category.
Swift can extend the record with a fifth victory on Sunday night for The Tortured Poets Department, but she is 7/2 with William Hill to do so.
Beyonce holds the record for the most Grammy wins in history with a gargantuan 32 trophies, but quite incredibly, she has never won Album of the Year.
And the bookmakers don't fancy her for the title this year either.
Beyonce's Cowboy Carter is 5/1 with most UK bookmakers to make history for the star, while Charli XCX is 13/2 with Unibet to win the award for her hyperpop record Brat.
Brat was a massive success last year and inspired the "Brat Summer" trend.
Explaining what Brat means, the singer once revealed the concept is like a person who may have "a pack of cigs, a Bic lighter and a strappy white top with no bra".
She also said on social media: "You’re just like that girl who is a little messy and likes to party and maybe says some dumb things sometimes."
While Charli was inspiring messy parties over the summer, Billie looks set to clean up at this year's Grammys.
She is also odds-on to win Song of the Year, which celebrates songwriters rather than artists, at 8/13 with Betfred.
Kendrick Lamar's Drake diss track Not Like Us is her biggest competition, at 9/2 second favourite, followed by 5/1 shot Die with a Smile, which features Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
Sabrina's Sweet Victory
Sabrina Carpenter is an 8/1 outsider for a Song of the Year win, but she could taste short and sweet victory over Eilish in the Record of the Year category.
Carpenter's tune Espresso dominated much of 2024, and she even became a barista for a day in London to promote the track.
However, it's not about her love of coffee.
In the sexual innuendo-filled song, Carpenter croons about someone being as addicted to her as espresso.
She might be celebrating with a couple of coffees on Monday morning if Espresso lands the star her first ever Grammy Award.
She is 4/7 favourite to triumph, followed by Eilish and Lamar who are both 4/1.
If there is to be a shock result then the Brits could land the prize.
The Beatles are 20/1 outsiders to win Record of the Year for Now and Then, while Charli XCX is 25/1 with most bookmakers for a shock win with 360.
Chappell Hoping For Sunday Success
Carpenter also has a strong chance of winning Best New Artist - but this appears to be Chappell Roan's gong to lose.
Roan is the 2/5 favourite to scoop the accolade, ahead of 9/4 second favourite Sabrina, and it would cement a seismic rise to fame for the star.
At the beginning of 2024, Roan was relatively unknown.
But she ended the year as a household name and with six Grammy nods, including one in each of the big four categories.
British hope Raye is 10/1, but if Roan doesn't succeed then it would be a surprise to see the Recording Academy choose anyone else other than Carpenter.
