Harvey Elliott Next Club Odds: Where Next For Liverpool Midfielder?

Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott's game-time has been significantly reduced under Arne Slot this season and betting sites are already offering odds on where he might end up next.

The 21-year-old midfielder is already into his sixth full season at Anfield having moved to Liverpool from Fulham back in the summer of 2019.

Since then, has notched up 128 appearances for the Reds, scoring 11 goals during a glorious period of success for the club. under Jurgen Klopp.

But while very much appreciated by the German boss, Elliott has seen his career stall somewhat in recent months.

An injury initially pushed him back in Arne Slot’s thinking with the likes of Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai now keeping him out the side.

Liverpool would be reluctant to let Elliott leave now with the club still actively involved in four competitions and Slot needing all his resources until the end of the season.

So if the man who has bagged four major honours during his time on Merseyside does decide his future lies elsewhere, where could he end up?

Brighton In Pole Position

Brighton, who are 11th in the Premier League, currently have a number of injuries to deal with and Elliott could be an excellent short-term addition as Fabian Hurzeler’s side push for European football next term.

Over the past few seasons, the Seagulls have developed an attacking style and are now one of the most entertaining teams in the Premier League. Elliott’s skills could easily add to that.

He remains one of the most creative young talents in English football and it’s easy to see him fitting into Hurzeler’s plans with the south coast club 6/4 favourite to be his next destination.

The Bundesliga giants have an outstanding record of plucking some of English football’s brightest talents and turning them into superstars.

Jude Bellingham is the most obvious example of that, while Jadon Sancho also moved to Manchester United for £73 million back in 2021.

The next one off their production line of English talent, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, now looks set for a summer move with Fabrizio Romano revealing they are now resigned to the departure of the winger.

A move to the Westfalenstadion certainly carries with it plenty of appeal and could be an option Elliott might explore with a move to Germany currently 8/5 with betting apps

Nottingham Forest Looking To Fortify

Forest might view Harvey Elliott as a smart addition to their squad due to his technical ability, versatility and Premier League experience as they look to maintain their title challenge.

With rising interest in Morgan Gibbs-White, many see Elliott as a like-for-like replacement, and if they act now, the price may be less inflated than it would be should the 24-year-old depart the City Ground in the summer.

Assuming Forest qualify for Europe next season, Elliott’s pedigree, having played in the Champions League with Liverpool, would bolster squad depth as Nuno's side look to compete on multiple fronts, so it's no surprise to see Forest at 5/2 in the betting.

Should Elliott look to continue his career away from Liverpool, a move to Bourmemouth (3/1) could offer him exactly what he's looking for.

Andoni Iraola has instilled a very clear tactical identity in his side, which is based around incredible effort levels both in and out of possession.

This could suit Elliott, who can offer plenty of creativity and energy in midfield if he's asked to play in his favoured number 10 role, something he hasn't done much of under Slot.

Bournemouth are on course for their highest ever top-flight finish and the addition of someone with his quality and experience might be beneficial for both parties.

Villa Lead Chasing Pack

Aston Villa (4/1) have already added Dortmund's Donyell Malen to their ranks this January and all the indications are that they are looking to add more bodies ahead of a busy end to the season.

Though a move to the Midlands may be seen as be something of a step down for Elliott, he would be all but guaranteed game time in a side that will almost certainly have Premier League and Champions League football to contend with.

Other Premier League clubs that could offer an Anfield exit strategy include former club Fulham (9/2), Brentford (5/1), Newcastle(5/1), Chelsea (6/1) and Tottenham (13/2)

Meanwhile, overseas interest could come from Napoli (8/1) or Atletico Madrid (12/1).
