Forest Still Favourites
Despite losing Anthony Elanga to Newcastle, things are looking up for Nottingham Forest in the transfer market.
Exciting Brazilian forward Igor Jesus has already arrived, and Nuno Espirito Santos' side have also just signed Dan Ndoye from Bologna.
Last season's surprise packages have shown an interest in McAtee during the summer, but have had a £25 million bid turned down.
They are likely to return with another offer and are 8/13 favourites with betting apps to sign the City midfielder.
Moyes Looking For Marquee Signing
Everton boss David Moyes has been showing discontent with the club's transfer activity this summer.
The Scot was hoping to bring in a number of players as the Toffees move to their new stadium, but is frustrated with the lack of support from the club's hierarchy.
McAtee would be an excellent signing and is likely to be towards the top of Moyes' wish list.
Everton were the 5/6 favourites at one stage, but have since drifted to 7/1.

Hammers Need Improvements
Graham Potter is attempting to build his West Ham team to fit his style for next season, but things have been slow so far at the London Stadium.
El Hadji Malick Diouf and Kyle Walker-Peters are the only two new faces through the door, and with Mohammed Kudus having joined Tottenham, they need some quality replacements soon.
McAtee would suit Potter's possession-based style and would boost the mood among West Ham supporters.
The Hammers are also 10/1 to sign him in the current transfer window.
Palace Pondering McAtee Move
Oliver Glasner continues to impress at Crystal Palace, with an FA Cup win under their belt and another excellent Premier League campaign last season.
The Eagles have European football to look forward to and will be hoping to improve again this season, but they may have to do so without star man Eberechi Eze, who is being linked with a move away.
McAtee would be an excellent replacement, and his asking price would be affordable.
They are priced at 14/1 to bring him to Selhurst Park this summer.
Bundesliga Options Available
McAtee had reportedly been in talks with several German teams, with Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt thought to be in the running.
A number of young English players have starred in the Bundesliga in recent years, and it could be an interesting option for the City youngster.
Frankfurt have already had a bid turned down, but have money to spend after selling Hugo Ekitike to Liverpool.
Both teams can be backed at 20/1 with football betting sites.
Atalanta Were In 'Advanced Talks'
According to some reports, Atalanta were another team in negotiations to sign McAtee this summer.
The Serie A club were involved in a title battle last season, but fell away in the closing stages.
They ultimately finished third, and signing a player with McAtee's talent could help them close the gap on champions Napoli.
The Italians were once 2/1 in the market, but can now be backed at 25/1 with Bet365.
Newcastle And Spurs Among Outsiders
Newcastle (25/1) are enduring a difficult time in the transfer market, having missed out on a number of targets.
Eddie Howe is thought to admire McAtee, but with Alexander Isak's future in doubt, a new striker is more important at this stage.
Tottenham (25/1) have brought in Kudus, but Thomas Frank is unlikely to be finished adding to his squad, and McAtee fits the profile of a player that the former Brentford manager can get the most out of.
Bournemouth are also priced at 25/1 to sign the Man City midfielder.
