Sunderland prospect Jobe Bellingham is expected to be in demand when the summer transfer window opens and football betting sites are speculating which club could sign him over the next few months.

Bellingham, younger brother of Real Madrid and England star Jude, joined the Black Cats from Birmingham in a £1.75million deal last summer, but has already made a major impact.

The 18-year-old midfielder scored seven goals in 45 appearances in his first season on Wearside.

Premier League and European clubs have been keeping tabs on Bellingham in the hope he will prove to be as talented as his sibling.

Sunderland would like to keep one of the biggest talents in the Championship, but they will find it hard to turn down a big offer in the summer.

The big question is whether Jobe will still be at the Stadium of Light next season or will one of the top-flight clubs prove impossible to resist?

Gambling.com has taken a look at the clubs hoping to sign the younger Bellingham and the latest odds.

Spurs Ahead In Jobe Market

Tottenham have already stolen a march on their rivals in the race to sign Bellingham and are odds-on favourites with the best betting sites to bring the teenager to north London.

Spurs have reportedly made contact with Bellingham’s representatives and now appear to be at the front of the queue for a player that could cost around £20m.

The England U19 international is the type of player wanted by Ange Postecoglou, an attacking midfielder who can also excel in a deeper role.

Although Bellingham is possibly viewed as one for the future by the Australian, if he blossoms just like his brother did at Borussia Dortmund, he could find himself getting first-team opportunities at an early stage.

Spurs also have Chelsea star Conor Gallagher on their radar, but they are 4/5 to snap up an exciting player with great potential.

Capital Gains For Bellingham?

Crystal Palace enjoyed a brilliant finish to their Premier League season and are 2/1 second favourites with betting apps to bring him to Selhurst Park.

Despite being long-time admirers of the teenager, the Eagles have yet to make an offer over concerns he is not quite ready for the rigours of the Premier League.

Manager Oliver Glasner may have other targets in mind for next season, especially if Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise move to bigger clubs, but Palace may finally launch a bid with the future in mind.

London rivals Brentford have also been monitoring Bellingham and are 5/2 to launch a successful bid.

Although strengthening the Bees defence is Thomas Frank’s priority, midfield is another area which requires improvement.

Bellingham would also fit in with the club’s transfer policy of signing young players and developing them, with an eye on making a profit in the future.

Dortmund Eye Former Blues Brothers Swoop

Borussia Dortmund made a killing from the sale of Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid and have recently been linked with a move for his brother.

The Bundesliga giants spent £25m on buying Bellingham from Birmingham which they turned into a tidy profit when they sold him to the European champions for £88m last summer.

They also have a bit of cash burning their pockets after reaching the Champions League final, which they lost to Bellingham’s new club.

With Marco Reus ending his 12-year stay at Dortmund, the club are looking for another attacking midfielder and are 3/1 to make it a Bellingham double.

Cottagers And Toffees In The Mix

Fulham had European ambitions in mid-March, but two wins from their final nine games ensured a lower-half finish.

The Cottagers had the oldest average starting XI in the 2023-24 campaign at 29 years and 28 days, so it is likely Marco Silva will want to introduce some fresh blood to bring energy to an experienced group.

Fulham are 4/1 to sign Bellingham, just ahead of Everton, who are priced at 5/1.

Another traumatic season at Goodison Park finally ended with Premier League survival despite being docked 10 points, reduced to six on appeal, for breaking Profit and Sustainability Rules.

Manager Sean Dyche would like to add some creativity to his midfield and Bellingham would fit the bill in that respect, despite his tender years.

Cherries And Wolves Dark Horses

Bournemouth missed out on a top-half finish after losing their last three games, but the season was still viewed as a success.

Manager Andoni Iraola will be keen to take the Cherries to the next level by bringing in new players for next season and Bellingham would be an interesting addition to one of the Premier League’s youngest squads.

UK bookmakers have priced Bournemouth at 8/1 to sign Bellingham, with Wolves next in line at 10/1.

Gary O’Neil worked wonders with a squad decimated by summer exits in order to comply with PSR, but there is less pressure on the club heading into the new season.

That said, Wolves will probably need to sell in order to generate transfer funds, so the potential £60m sale of Portugal midfielder Pedro Neto will come in handy.

Bellingham is hardly in Neto’s bracket, but he could prove to be a useful – and cheaper – addition to O’Neil’s talented squad.

Newly-promoted Southampton and Ipswich are 10/1 and 14/1 respectively to snap up Bellingham, who scored in a 4-2 defeat at St Mary’s in March.
