Last One Laughing Odds: Who Might Appear On Series 2?

Amazon has confirmed a second helping of its hilarious show, Last One Laughing, is on the way and there's a tight market on best betting sites regarding who might take part.
Series one had viewers in hysterics as they watched on while some of the UK's best-loved comedians attempt to make each other laugh - while keeping a straight face themselves.
Amazon has revealed a second series will be shot later this year, with a view to airing in 2026 on Prime Video - and host Jimmy Carr will return to front the programme.
He said: "I'm absolutely delighted that Last One Laughing is coming back for a second series. I think what’s happened is someone high up at Amazon has clicked ‘subscribe & save’ on Prime Video and, hey presto, we’re back in business.
"I’m so pleased people had as much fun watching the first season as we had making it. Can’t wait to bask in the reflected glory of the next 10 comedy legends taking on the challenge."
Jimmy co-hosted series one alongside Roisin Conaty, and the comedians included Bob Mortimer, Daisy May Cooper, Richard Ayoade, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley and Lou Sanders.
Any Rom For Ranganathan?
Romesh Ranganathan is the 11/8 favourite on betting apps to appear in Last One Laughing series two.
The Weakest Link host recently invited Roisin on his BBC Radio 2 programme to discuss the success of the Prime Video series, and he would be a huge asset to the programme.
Last One Laughing UK had one of Amazon Prime Video's biggest ever UK launches, after three million tuned into the first episode, and casting the likes of Romesh will ensure it remains successful.
If Amazon want to go more old school with their comedy faces, then they could do far worse than enlist the services of Peter Kay (6/4) or Kathy Burke (13/8).
It would be some coup to land either of the stars for the series, let alone both.
But it wouldn't be a huge surprise if several comedians have approached Amazon to ask about being part of the programme.
In series one, the banter among the stars appeared to be flowing, despite them trying to stop themselves from laughing, and the show was a gif-lovers paradise.
French And Saunders Reunion?
One thing missing from this year's Last One Laughing was a double act - but Amazon can put that right for series two, by enlisting Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders.
French and Saunders are 7/4 chances to take part in the laugh out loud programme.
While they haven't been seen in a comedy show for years, the pals did reunite on TV in late 2024 - for The Masked Singer's Christmas Special.
Dawn and Jennifer were part of the judging panel for the ITV show, as they put their detective skills to the test to try to figure out which celebrities were behind the elaborate masks.

Another huge signing for Last One Laughing series two would be Mr Bean himself - Mr Rowan Atkinson.
The Blackadder star is a 15/8 chance to appear in the programme.
But if he did sign up, it could be a big issue for his co-stars - because who would be able to keep straight face when Rowan gets into character as Mr Bean?
Peep Show Comeback
Like French and Saunders, another double act who would be a sure-fire hit on Last One Laughing is Peep Show pair David Mitchell (2/1) and Robert Webb (10/3).
In February, Channel 4 announced the comedy duo will return with a brand-new as-yet untitled sketch show - and the pair admitted they were "startled, bemused and available".
They said in a joint statement: "When Channel 4 asked us to do another sketch show we were startled, bemused and available.
"It’s a perilous time for the industry and so it’s our hope that relaunching the trickiest genre of comedy is a brilliant piece of counter intuitive commissioning."
Another way they could give the comedy industry a boost would be to appear on Last One Laughing - and they would surely be tough to beat on the programme.
Elsewhere, Miranda Hart (5/2) and Ricky Gervais (3/1) would be huge signings for the show, as would Katherine Ryan (7/2).
Little Britain duo Matt Lucas (6/1) and David Walliams (9/1) could also be in contention.
