League Two leaders Notts County are the top scorers in the division with 14 goals ahead of Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with Gillingham.
David McGoldrick and Jodi Jones also lead the way in the scoring charts with four goals apiece, alongside three other players, but it will be a case of all hands on deck as they try to prise apart the fourth tier’s meanest defence this weekend.
Gillingham may have only conceded twice this season, but that statistic does not paint the full picture when we examine the expected goals figures.
In terms of xG conceded, which measures the quality of chances given up by a team, the Gills actually have the fifth worst record, so they have either been riding their luck or veteran keeper Glenn Morris is having an inspired season.

The Panel picked McGoldrick to find the net at Bromley last week and despite the visitors coming back from two goals down inside six minutes to win 4-2 at Bromley, the former Ireland striker was not on the scoresheet.
Instead, The Panel are siding with Jones, who looks exceptional value at 9/2 with betting sites to score, just as he did twice at Bromley.
Jones is the Magpies’ penalty-taker, too, and when you add the fact that he has taken an average of 3.0 shots per game this season, he looks a great value bet to score for League Two’s most prolific side.

Grimsby Vs Bromley: Turn To Cheek
Bromley have made a decent start to their first ever season in the Football League, especially Michael Cheek who is one of the five top scorers in League Two.
The 33-year-old striker took just four minutes to open his account against Notts County last weekend, turning home Idris Odutayo’s low cross to make it four for the season.
The former Ebbsfleet player, who had previously never played in the Football League, had also opened the scoring from the penalty spot at Colchester seven days earlier.
Being on spot-kick duties is always a plus when it comes to anytime goalscorer tips, but the fact Cheek has taken to playing at a higher level so quickly is an added bonus.
This weekend, Andy Woodman’s side are at Grimsby, who have one of the most porous defences in the division, conceding 12 times.
The Mariners are in the top 10 for both shots conceded and in xG terms, so the visitors should expect to have chances at Blundell Park.
Cheek’s xG is 2.76 this season – the fourth highest in the division for the quality of chances – and hopefully one of them will fall his way this weekend at 11/5 with new betting sites.
