Lennon Miller Next Club Odds: Sunderland Head Queue To Sign Motherwell Star

Speculation is mounting about the future of Motherwell youngster Lennon Miller, who made his Scotland debut in June.
The 18-year-old midfielder came on for the final quarter of Scotland’s abject 3-1 defeat by Iceland, but played the whole of the 4-0 friendly win in Liechtenstein where he set up Che Adams’ second goal.
His classy performance got tongues wagging and betting sites have made newly-promoted Sunderland the favourites for his signature during the summer transfer window.
Former Motherwell manager Michael Wimmer predicted Miller would be sold during the summer transfer window, but where could he be playing next season?
We take a look at those in the running for his signature and the latest next Lennon Miller club odds.
Black Cats Have Cash To Splash
Sunderland will need to add more quality to their squad for their return to the Premier League and are on the hunt for a new midfielder following the departure of Jobe Bellingham to Borussia Dortmund.
The Black Cats are likely to get around £30million for Bellingham after he followed in his brother’s footsteps by joining the Bundesliga giants.
Sunderland have been linked with a £10m bid for Miller which could eventually look like peanuts to spend on a player who has his best years ahead of him.
They also have a reputation for giving teenagers opportunities in the first team, players like Chris Rigg, Bellingham and Tom Watson, who fired Sunderland into the Premier League before joining Brighton in a £10m deal.
It’s unlikely that the son of former Scotland international Lee Miller would walk straight into Sunderland’s starting XI in the Premier League, but he looks a great prospect at 6/4 to join the Wearsiders.
Hoops Just Ahead Of Gers
The Old Firm have long been linked with a move for Miller, but his performance against lowly Liechtenstein may have ramped up their interest.
Miller faced Celtic twice in the Premiership in the 2024/25 season and Rangers on four occasions in all competitions, so both clubs have a good idea of his capabilities.
The Steelmen reportedly rebuffed an offer for Miller from the Hoops in January, but the Scottish champions are set to test their resolve once again in summer.
Celtic are 2/1 to be Miller’s next port of call, just ahead of Rangers who are 9/4 with football betting sites.

Bologna | 7/1 | 12.5% |

AC Milan | 12/1 | 7.7% |
Rangers are thought to be admirers of Miller, who is entering the final year of his contract at Fir Park.
Should the teenager decide against extending his deal, Miller will almost certainly be sold.
Now that Rangers’ takeover is complete and new manager Russell Martin has his feet under the table, thoughts are starting to turn towards improving the squad.
Miller would certainly bring quality to the Lights Blues squad, but will they be able to compete with Premier League new boys Sunderland in the transfer market?
French Fancy Miller Move
Strasbourg, coached by former Hull City manager Liam Rosenior, have been monitoring Miller and are 4/1 with betting apps to sign him in the summer.
L’Equipe claims that with Andrey Santos returning to Chelsea following the end of his loan spell and Habib Diarra on the move, the Ligue 1 club are looking for a new midfielder.
Strasbourg will be playing in the Europa Conference League next season which Miller may find appealing when choosing a new club.
Miller On Reds Radar
Liverpool are thought to be big admirers of Miller, one of the most sought-after teenagers in Europe.
Joining the Premier League champions would be a big step for the Motherwell player, but his father has advised him to join a club where he is guaranteed first-team football, an opinion held by Brian McClair in an exclusive interview with Gambling.com.
Speaking on The Warm-Up, former Dundee United and Aberdeen striker Miller said: “My advice to Lennon is you need to be playing.
“His next move is so important to play and develop. He doesn’t want to go and play in the U-23s and build himself up, he’s a first-team player now.”
With that in mind, Liverpool are 9/2 to bring Miller to Anfield.
Dortmund Join Lengthy Queue
Borussia Dortmund are no strangers to signing British talent, having signed both Bellingham brothers and Jamie Gittens, who is wanted by Chelsea.
Dortmund are 5/1 to sign the Scot, while Brighton are available at 6/1.
The Seagulls are thought to be interested in Miller, although rumours suggest he could join Brighton’s sister club Union Saint-Gilloise first before he makes the move to the south coast.
Elsewhere, Serie A side Como – coached by former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas – are 13/2 to sign Miller, who may be encouraged by the performances of Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour at champions Napoli.
Fellow Italian clubs Bologna are 7/1, Fiorentina 8/1 and AC Milan 12/1 to snap up Miller.
