The Masked Singer Christmas Special Odds: Leigh Francis And Lord Sugar Linked
The Masked Singer Christmas Special is returning on Boxing Day to give us something to watch when we're chowing down on leftover turkey, stuffing and roast potatoes.
Four new characters will take part in the ITV show's festive special, and there's been plenty of speculation on betting sites about who might be behind the wacky costumes.
Mistletoe, Goose A-Laying, Figgy Pudding and Santa's Sack will aim to entertain the nation on Boxing Day, but which celebrities are behind the masks?
Joel's Christmas Clanger
While viewers will be busy trying to work out all four of the characters, they will get a helping hand after Mistletoe performs.
Show host Joel Dommett will return to front the festive episode, joined by panellists Jonathan Ross, Maya Jama, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan.
Also joining the show will be a host of pantomime icons: Fairy Godmother (Su Pollard), the Dame (Christopher Biggins), Wicked Stepmother (Lesley Joseph) and Prince Charming (Basil Brush) will provide clues for the panel.
But for the first time in seven series, Joel will accidentally let slip who is under one of the masks.
The TV presenter took to Instagram to reveal a clip of him saying Mistletoe's real name, but the moniker is bleeped out.
He told The Sun: "I can’t believe I did it. This person was chuckling in the costume and it’s a chuckle I know well and I said their name. It just came out. Their actual name!
"Thankfully, they had pretty much guessed who it was."

Following Joel's error, fellow comedian Leigh Francis is 6/4 favourite with bookmakers to be Mistletoe, whose pre-episode clue is: "Pucker up...it’s Mistletoe!"
Former I'm A Celebrity champion Sam Thompson isn't far behind at 13/8, and comedian Rob Beckett is 15/8.
Joel admitted he was put on the "naughty step" after the episode, because The Masked Singer producers "reiterated" to him that it couldn't happen again.
Jenny Chasing Masked Singer Glory?
While Joel landed in hot water with show bosses, viewers believe they have a strong chance of correctly guessing Goose A-Laying.
The character appears to have given a huge hint in their pre-episode clue, saying: "They'll send you on a wild Goose chase, it's Goose A-Laying!"
As a result, some have predicted it will be one of the quizzers from The Chase.
Furthermore, in the song The 12 Days of Christmas, the line "six geese a-laying", which some believe could be a reference to Goose-A-Laying being part of a six-piece group.

Top quizzer Jenny Ryan is 10/11 favourite on betting apps to be Goose-A-Laying.
She has a top vocal ability and previously took part in The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019.
Fellow Chasers Darragh Ennis (15/8), Anne Hegerty (2/1) and Shaun Wallace (5/2) are also in contention.
Santa: You're Fired
Likely candidates to be Santa's Sack could be someone from the BBC business show The Apprentice.
Lord Sugar fronts the show and is known for sacking numerous contestants over the years with his famous line: "You're fired".
It means the entrepreneur is the 7/4 favourite to be Santa's Sack.

Former Apprentice and Strictly Come Dancing star Tom Skinner is 2/1 second favourite to be under the mask, and Apprentice star-turned Loose Woman Saira Khan is a 5/2 chance.
Skinner could also be this year's Figgy Pudding, because the character's clue is: "Pudding their best foot forward... It's Figgy Pudding!"

Eagle-eyed fans have linked the character to a dancer.
While Skinner was voted off first in this year's Strictly, Figgy Pudding might be a professional dancer, and Strictly pros Katya Jones (11/8), Nikita Kuzmin (6/4) and Johannes Radebe (7/4) have all been linked.
