Nat Coombs' NFL Week 15 Tips Including Dolphins @ Texans

Nat Coombs is an NFL writer and broadcaster who has been anchoring TV and radio coverage in the UK for over 15 years, working with a range of networks including BBC, TalkSPORT, FIVE, ESPN and Channel 4.

He also hosts his own NFL podcast The Nat Coombs Show and writes a column for The Times.

Nat has joined The Panel to share his three best tips for the weekend’s NFL action using the best prices from the leading NFL betting sites.

This week's treble pays out around 11/2 with Betway.

Nat Coombs' NFL Week 15 Predictions:

Bengals @ Titans Prediction: Burrow To Carry Cincy, Again

Joe Burrow’s is this generation's Dan Marino. Gifted, consistently delivering a high-wire offense that thrills, but ultimately falls short of the biggest prize.

He’ll lock in Comeback Player of the Year and what’s even more remarkable about his season to date (33 touchdown passes and counting), is that he’s doing it behind another woefully inadequate offensive line.

Plus, defensive co-ordinator Lou Anarumo’s gold-dust has seemingly run out this season, putting Burrow behind the eight-ball more often than note.

Like Marino, Burrow has already been to and lost a Super Bowl, and realistically the Bengals aren’t going back this time. However, they are not going out without a fight.

Their 27-20 win in Dallas on Monday night improved their record to 5-8 and keeps them in the hunt for a play-off place.

The Titans have underwhelmed once again. 'Legit' quarterback Will Levis doesn’t seem to be the answer, he’s banged up too going into this one and defensively they are allowing 26.5 points per game.

That is marginally better than the Bengals, but the Titans will struggle to keep up with the pace here, particularly if they are missing running back Tony Pollard, who’s another injury doubt.

Nat Coombs' Panel Tip 1: Bengals -4.5 To Beat The Titans: Over 42.5 Total Points - 20/23 With Betway

Dolphins @ Texans Betting: Tua To Keep Miami's Season Alive

Miami, much like the Bengals, are raging against the dying of the light. How different their season may have been if Tua Tagovaolia hadn’t missed an extended stack of games, but it’s another year of faded promise for Mike McDaniel’s team.

Fortunately, the baying herd calling for his head earlier in the season, and the absurd suggestions that the offensive golden boy had been worked out, have quietened.

Tua brings composure, efficiency and poise to the offense, which is predicated on rhythm and balance, but unlike other “game-managing” style quarterbacks, he’s got more X-factor and pop.

Houston come into this with rest, off their late-season bye week and it couldn’t have come at a better time, as the highly-touted Texans have been under-performing.

CJ Stroud has regressed from a superb rookie season and with good reason. His offensive line hasn’t been particularly effective, allowing 143 pressures and 26 sacks on 520 pass plays this season, which ranks 24th in the NFL.

And his number one receiver, Stefon Diggs, has been sidelined for much of the season.

The Texans should still breeze into the playoffs and their defense has played well, but it’s hard to see a deep run based on current form.

I like Miami to keep this close and put some points up in Houston.

Nat Coombs' Panel Tip 2: Dolphins Over 21.5 Points - 10/11 With Betway

Cowboys @ Panthers Preview: Dallas To Cover As Underdogs

The Cowboys, along with my other two team picks this week, have flattered to deceive once again, and the path to the playoffs, whilst technically possible, is a fading dream.

There’s talk Mike McCarthy keeps his job in Dallas, but whoever calls the shots next year will have their work cut out.

That's because the Cowboys are the prototype of a super-star laden team that lacks balance and depth, principally because they’re paying Dak Prescott, Cee Dee Lamb and most likely a new mega-bucks deal for Micah Parsons.

Carolina has a lot of buzz around them for a struggling team on the surface.

The Bryce Young comeback narrative is a key part of that. Six weeks ago he was a bust, now he’s the future and is testament to the need for perseverance and patience with young quarterbacks.

They’re battling hard and have some exciting young pieces and they can build in the off-season with some much-needed salary cap space.

However, I like the Cowboys to keep the tenuous play-off dream alive for one more week, particularly as a road dog on NFL betting sites
