Next Blind Date Host: Claudia Winkleman And Holly Willoughby Favourites

Iconic British game show Blind Date is expected to make a return to our screens.
News of Blind Date's likely return has sparked speculation on the best betting sites about who might host the programme.
The show was hosted by the late, great Cilla Black for 18 series from 1985 to 2003 on ITV, and it was revived by Channel 5 in 2017 when Cilla's pal Paul O'Grady took over the reins.
He fronted four series until 2019, but he passed away four years later.
Blind Date was recently linked to a return on the BBC - but Disney+ is expected to be the show's new home.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Although there’s likely to be some modern twists, the bosses very much want to keep the essence of the original.
"There’ll be key elements returning, including the famous sliding wall.
"Plus, there will be a prize up for grabs of a wedding package, which echoes Cilla’s famous gag whenever couples had enjoyed a successful date, and she used to ask, 'Do I need to buy an ‘at for the wedding?' "
Claudia Could Get The Call
The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman is the early 6/4 favourite on betting apps to front the rebooted series.
She already co-hosts one of the biggest shows on TV in the shape of Strictly Come Dancing, and Claudia has displayed fantastic comic timing when interacting with players on The Traitors.
Claudia would be a number one choice to put potential lovers at ease on a Blind Date reboot.
The star's fellow Strictly presenter Tess Daly is a 4/1 chance, but Holly Willoughby is a more likely contender.
Next Blind Date Host Odds:
Host | Odds | Probability |
Claudia Winkleman | 6/4 | 40% |
Holly Willoughby | 15/8 | 34.8% |
Davina McCall | 2/1 | 33.3% |
Alison Hammond | 5/2 | 28.6% |
Rylan Clark | 3/1 | 25% |
Rochelle Humes | 7/2 | 22.2% |
Tess Daly | 4/1 | 20% |
Paddy McGuinness | 9/2 | 18.2% |
Maya James | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Josie Gibson | 11/2 | 15.4% |
Freddie Flintoff | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Stacey Solomon | 7/1 | 12.5% |
Emma Willis | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Marvin Humes | 10/1 | 9.1% |
The former This Morning prester is 15/8 for the job, and she may have more time on her hands soon, after it was recently claimed her and Bear Grylls' Netflix show Celebrity Bear Hunt has been axed after one series.
What's more, Davina McCall is 2/1 third favourite to front a Blind Date revival - and she is no stranger to dating shows.
Davina presents My Mum, Your Dad - billed as a Love Island for older stars - and has previously hosted Davina McCall's Language of Love, and even the first series of 90s dating show God's Gift, with Claudia replacing her for the second season.
Alison To Do Paul Proud
Another star who should be in contention for a Blind Date return is This Morning presenter Alison Hammond.
The Great British Bake Off co-host is no stranger to taking over from Paul O'Grady on a show.
Following Paul's passing, Alison replaced the late star as the host of ITV's For the Love of Dogs, and it wouldn't be a surprise if she fronted a Blind Date revival, too.
Alison is just 5/2 fourth favourite to get the nod, but perhaps her best pal and fellow This Morning presenter Josie Gibson could get the call instead?
Josie is an 11/2 shot, but fellow This Morning host Rochelle Humes is shorter at 7/2.
If Blind Date bosses opt to change the format slightly and have a man and a woman co-host the programme then she and her husband Marvin Humes (10/1) will surely be in contention.
The pair have co-hosted This Morning and BBC One's The Hit List together and they would no doubt be in the conversation.
The Man For The Job
However, Blind Date bosses might opt for a male presenter on his own. If so, Rylan Clark would surely be in contention.
Since shooting to fame on The X Factor in 2012, Rylan has shown he can turn his hand to just about any presenting show - and he knows all about a reboot.
He's fronted revivals of Supermarket Sweep and Ready Steady Cook, as well as been co-commentator of the Eurovision Song Contest, and stepped in as a This Morning presenter at times.
If Blind Date producers are after a presenter with plenty of charm and charisma, then 3/1 chance Rylan could be their man.
Elsewhere, Paddy McGuinness isn't too far behind at 9/2.
He previously fronted dating show Take Me Out, and co-hosted Top Gear alongside Freddie Flintoff.
Former England cricketer Flintoff may be in with a shot, particularly as he is known to Disney+ bosses.
His powerful documentary Flintoff is currently airing on the streaming site, and Freddie is just 6/1 to be the next Blind Date host.
