Next Motherwell Manager Odds: Robbie Neilson Now Favourite For Fir Park Vacancy

Robbie Neilson has emerged as the new favourite on betting sites to be named the next manager of Motherwell.
Neilson is a free agent following his departure from the Tampa Bay Rowdies in April, after just four games into the current campaign.
The former Hearts defender and manager could be ready to return home and Motherwell are in a position to offer him a job.
His winning pedigree is just what Motherwell need right now, after finishing in the bottom half of the table.
Neilson Knows How To Win
During his coaching career in Scotland, Neilson led Hearts to the Championship title in 2017 and 2021, while also guiding Dundee United to promotion in between.
More recently, Neilson managed to take the Rowdies to the USL Championship play-offs, but they were forced to play their home games away from Tampa Bay following Hurricane Helene and Milton.
The 44-year-old might be ready to resume his career in his home nation and Motherwell could well get in touch with Neilson, who is the 7/5 favourite.

Motherwell Could Call Brown
Scott Brown is also in the reckoning to become Motherwell's next manager, according to football betting sites.
Brown can be backed at 7/4 after managerial stints at Fleetwood Town and Ayr United.
During his time at Fleetwood, he took the club to the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time in their history.
Ayr missed out on a place in the top flight when they were beaten by Partick Thistle, but Brown could be tempted by the Motherwell job.
Don't Rule Out Temur To Fir Park
Temur Ketsbaia is 2/1 to be named Motherwell's next manager after a solid start to his coaching career.
Ketsbaia, who had spells at Newcastle, Wolves and Dundee, became the first manager to guide a Cypriot side to the group stage of the Champions League, when he was Anorthosis manager.
The Georgian's last job was with Cyprus, and while he would be a surprise appointment, he might be just what Motherwell need.
Docherty Might Want Quick Return
Tony Docherty was last seen in the Dundee dugout, but a disappointing season brought an end to his time in charge.
The Dark Blues avoided the relegation play-off, but more was expected from Docherty and the players.
Docherty is 3/1 on betting apps to be in charge at Fir Park at the start of the 2025/26 season.
Also on the list to replace Kettlewell are former Hearts boss Liam Fox (4/1), ex-Rangers caretaker-manager Barry Ferguson (5/1) and Shaun Maloney (6/1), who has been in charge of Hibernian and Wigan.
Dougie Imrie (8/1) and Callum Davidson (10/1) are considered outsiders for the role.
