Nat Coombs' NFL Week 15 Tips Including Dolphins @ Steelers

With action on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, fans of the NFL are spoilt for choice for games to watch.

Nine teams have had their play-off hopes dashed, which leaves 23 still eyeing Super Bowl glory in February.

Nat Coombs is sharing three more tips for this weekend's contests, using the latest odds from BetMGM.

Nat Coombs' NFL Week 15 Tips:

Raiders @ Eagles: Back The Low Over

The Philadelphia Eagles' much-maligned offense suffered further criticism after the prime-time collapse to the Los Angeles Chargers.

However, there were signs of positivity amidst all the Jalen Hurts crossfire, not least a sighting of a Saquon Barkley chunk play to the house, which was a common occurrence last season, less so this time around.

That entirely interconnects with the passing-game challenges Philly are facing.

Despite their collective struggles, the Las Vegas Raiders possess a mid-level defense in many respects.

GAME NOTES:

Eagles defense ranked 3rd with just 13 Pass TDs allowed
Raiders offense ranked =26th with 17 Pass TDs thrown

However, injury to CB Kyu Blu Kelly in the Broncos game, weakens their pass defense, coming up against an attack itching to shut up their haters.

Eagles quarterback Hurts has been written off and bounced back way too many times in his career to overreact to what’s currently happening, and a get-right game here is plausible.

Raiders quarterback Geno Smith is an injury doubt, but Kenny Pickett may spark some fresh signs of life into an anaemic offense that surely will get something, anything from projected running back phenom Ashton Jeanty some point soon.

However, their woeful offensive line could be meat and gravy for the Eagles’ front seven.

GAME NOTES:

Raiders defense ranked =31st with 18 rushing TD allowed
Eagles offense ranked =13th with 13 rushing TDs scored

The Eagles will surely put up points, so, given such a low total, the question is whether the Raiders can even remotely keep up.

I like Brock Bowers, Jeanty and Tre Tucker to offer enough to hit double digits in a comfortable Eagles win, so take the over on betting apps

Nat's Selection 1: Raiders @ Eagles: Over 38 Points - 22/25 With BetMGM

Dolphins @ Steelers: Miami On A Roll

Miami Dolphins are the bounceback kids of this season's NFL, with their new rich vein of form likely to save the job of head coach Mike McDaniel, whose future looked bleak a month ago.

They’re unlikely to make the play-offs, but they are proving to be an entertaining watch.

They have a revitalised ground game, and even if De’Von Achane is sidelined with a rib injury, Jaylen Wright can step up as he did against the Jets last time out.

Despite the hot streak, questions remain around Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, but a get-right shot against the Pittsburgh Steelers defense is highly possible.

Pittsburgh’s offense is also improving, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers having one of his most accomplished starts of the season against the Baltimore Ravens last week, necessary because they couldn’t get their ground game going.

I expect more balance this week, and the Steelers can cement the AFC North with another win, but it’s the points total on betting sites that’s caught my eye, with points expected on both sides.

Nat's Selection 2: Dolphins @ Steelers: Over 41.5 Points - 22/25 With BetMGM

Ravens @ Bengals: Cincy To Bounce Back

Watching Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow slinging it against the Bills in Buffalo in a wild snow game last week, reminded us all what might have been for the Bengals this year.

His uncharacteristic flinch in the clutch – back-to-back picks, including a costly pick six – overshadowed some dazzling play.

The much-criticised Bengals defense showed signs of improvement, though they’ll plough on without Trey Hendrickson, with the announcement their superstar needs season-ending surgery.

GAME NOTES

Bengals defense ranked 32nd with 155.5 rushing yards per game
Ravens offense ranked 3rd with 142.9 rushing yards per game

Expect Burrow to get back in the saddle once again, and another high wire act from star receivers Ja'Marr Chase & Tee Higgins - assuming the latter passes the NFL's concussion protocol.

Baltimore have been underwhelming for weeks, with quarterback Lamar Jackson just not the same since his return from injury.

If they’re drawn into a shootout, I’m not sure they will be able to keep up, let alone cover the points they’re getting on NFL betting sites.

Nat's Selection 3: Bengals (+2.5) Vs The Ravens - 10/11 With BetMGM

Nat's Week 15 treble pays out around 23/4 With BetMGM.
