Rasmus Hojlund Next Club Odds: Napoli Favourites After Holding Talks

Rasmus Hojlund appears to be on the way out of Old Trafford, with Napoli favourites to sign him according to betting sites after holding talks with the 22-year-old.
United paid £72million to sign Hojlund from Atalanta in 2023, but he has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford, scoring only 10 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions last season.
Ruben Amorim has not appeared to trust the forward to lead the attack, signing Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha this summer to strengthen the front line.
Hojlund has been left out of the squad for United’s opening two games of the season, adding to speculation that a move may be imminent.
United value Hojlund at around £40m, although reports suggest he could be available on a loan-to-buy agreement, an arrangement likely to interest several clubs across Europe.

Napoli Hold Talks With Hojlund
They are said to be close to reaching full agreement and hope to finalise the deal in the coming days, according to Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Having made his name at Atalanta before moving to Old Trafford, Hojlund could be seen as an ideal option given his Serie A experience.
A transfer to Napoli would also reunite him with former Manchester United team-mate McTominay.
The Italian champions are 1/11 favourites to land the Dane this summer.

Rasmus The Man For Milan?
AC Milan are emerging as contenders in the pursuit of Hojlund.
After a mixed campaign last season, the Rossoneri are aiming to refresh their attacking options and may view him as a sound investment, particularly given his previous success in Serie A.
The club have a strong record of developing young players and, with a competitive squad and positive environment at San Siro, Hojlund could prosper if a transfer goes ahead.
He is priced at 3/1 with betting apps to don the iconic red and black jersey this season.
Atalanta Return On The Cards?
Hojlund joined United from Atalanta in 2023, and since then, the Serie A side have reportedly remained in contact with the striker’s representatives.
He left the Italian club on good terms, with Atalanta’s scouts having watched some of his matches last season - further fuelling speculation of a possible return to his former side.
The Denmark international is still a fan favourite and would be a popular signing.
He is priced at 5/1 to return to his former haunt.
Dortmund Keen To Do Deal
Borussia Dortmund (9/1) are reportedly considering a move for the Manchester United forward.
The Bundesliga club have funds available following the sale of Jamie Gittens to Chelsea and require a replacement for Youssoufa Moukoko.
Dortmund have also been linked with Hoffenheim forward Maximilian Beier but may regard Hojlund as a longer-term investment.
Ten Hag Reunion A Possibility
Former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was influential in persuading the club to invest heavily in signing Hojlund two summers ago.
He was insistent that patience was required in nurturing the striker’s development.
Now at Bayer Leverkusen (11/1), Ten Hag may persuade another club to take a chance on Hojlund, possibly on loan, if he remains convinced of the Dane’s ability to perform at the highest level.

Inter Showing Interest
Inter (11/1) are also reportedly targeting Hojlund.
The Nerazzurri view him as a long-term attacking option to provide competition alongside Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez.
However, Inter’s financial limitations could hinder any potential deal. To overcome this, they may propose a loan agreement with either a purchase option or an obligation next summer.
Elsewhere, a move to France is 16/1, the same price as a transfer to Major League Soccer or La Liga.
