Saturday BTTS Tips: Football League Regular Season Closes With 13/2 Acca

The regular season in the Football League concludes this weekend when all the promotion, relegation and play-off issues will be resolved.

The Premier League, though, still has four games remaining and one of those matches has been included in Saturday’s both teams to score tips.

All four selections from The Panel can be backed in a 13/2 acca on betting sites and start with one of the 12.30pm kick-offs from the Championship.

BTTS Tips: Coventry Vs Middlesbrough

The Panel are taking a gamble on this lunchtime kick-off between two teams heading into the final day with a realistic chance of finishing in the play-offs.

Coventry are in the box seat in sixth place and victory will almost certainly guarantee a spot in the top six barring a miraculous scoreline for Millwall at Burnley.

Boro’s only hope is that they beat the Sky Blues, and better Millwall’s and Blackburn’s results at Turf Moor and Bramall Lane respectively, so there are a lot of ifs and buts in this equation.

While there is life there is hope, but Boro must overcome a run of form which has yielded just one win in five and left their play-off bid hanging by a thread.

Michael Carrick’s side simply have to throw caution to the wind against a Coventry team that could be pipped at the post if they draw, so an open game is expected.

Unsurprisingly, this match is 8/15 with football betting sites on both teams scoring.

Both Teams To Score Acca: Leicester Vs Southampton

It’s been a miserable season for both clubs on their return to the Premier League, but even though they have both been relegated, they still have something to play for.

Rock-bottom Saints just need at least a draw from their remaining four games to avoid joining Derby on the lowest points tally in Premier League history (11).

Meanwhile, Ruud van Nistelrooy still has to convince the Leicester board that he is the right man to steer the club back to the top flight at the first time of asking.

The Foxes have failed to score in 10 of their last 11 Premier League games which is hardly a ringing endorsement for goals at both ends.

However, these teams have kept just three clean sheets between them all season and City overcame a 2-0 half-time deficit to run out 3-2 winners at St Mary’s Stadium in October.

More of the same is expected on Saturday as The Panel make this match the next of their both teams to score tips at 8/13 with William Hill.

Both Teams To Score Predictions: Wycombe Vs Stockport

The biggest-priced fixture from Saturday’s BTTS tips involves two teams that have already secured their place in the League One play-offs.

Wycombe’s automatic promotion push came off the rails when Matt Bloomfield left the club to join Luton, but Stockport have been on a hot streak, winning six of their last seven games during an unbeaten run.

Both teams are on 84 points and a draw is likely to mean that they avoid each other in the semi-finals.

It’s also possible that both managers may decide to make changes to avoid injuries which would give others a chance to prove their worth.

Chairboys boss Mike Dodds also revealed that some players are carrying “knocks that we’re assessing” and decisions which will be made in the next 24 hours.

The hosts have been struggling for goals lately, but Stockport have scored and conceded in four successive matches and they will be keen to avenge a 5-0 drubbing by Wycombe on Bonfire Night.

Both teams to score can be backed at 19/20 with betting apps.

BTTS Acca: Reading Vs Barnsley

The Panel wrap up their BTTS tips at Reading, who are in a two-horse race with Leyton Orient for the final play-off spot in League One.

Realistically, the Royals need to better the results of their London neighbours, whose goal difference looks insurmountable.

Barnsley’s play-off bid ended a long time ago, but they are on a remarkable nine-game run of scoring and conceding.

The teams also shared a 2-2 draw at Oakwell towards the end of November, so it’s hardly surprising a similar outcome of goals at both ends can be backed at 11/20.

* An acca on Saturday's BTTS tips is priced at almost 13/2 with Coral.
