Super Bowl Prop Bets: All The Specials And Side Punts You’ll Need

Super Bowl Prop Betting Tips:

The Super Bowl is an opportunity to bet on any number of markets, even if you are not a fan of the sport.

The coin toss is becoming a favourite pre-match bet. Will the specially commemorated coin land on heads, or tails? It's a 50/50 call. Simple as that.

Betting sites are offering odds of 19/20 for either team to win the toss which allows them to take the opening kickoff, of defer until the second half.

How Long Will National Anthem Last?

Following that, the two teams will line up on their sidelines for the national anthem.

Country star Reba McEntire has the honour of singing the 'Star Spangled Banner' on Sunday and you can bet on how long her version will last.

Alicia Keys, before Super Bowl XLVII, holds the record for the longest at 157 seconds, while Neil Diamond's version at Super Bowl XXI lasted 62 seconds.

The over/under for this year's anthem has been set at 90.5 seconds and we are going under at 8/11 with Betfair.

This year, you can bet on whether 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (11/8) or his Chiefs counterpart Patrick Mahomes (8/15) will be shown first during the anthem.

What Song Will Usher Open With?

Music fans tune in for the half-time show, which this year has been handed to Usher, who was one of the guests invited on stage by the Black Eyed Peas during Super Bowl XLV.

But which song will Usher open with on his own? "My Way" leads the way at Evens, with "OMG" available at 11/8.

"Yeah!" is arguably Usher's most recognisable song and if you think this is the song he will start his set with, you can back it at 4/1, while "Scream" is 6/1 to be the first song he performs.

Who Might Join Usher On Stage?

Staying on the half-time show, it's an opportunity for the headline act to collaborate with other artists.

Given an invite to perform on a global stage like the Super Bowl is too good to refuse.

Some betting apps have a market on who Usher might include in his set.

Alicia Keys (1/7), Ludacris (1/4), Post Malone (1/3) and Lil Jon (1/6) are all among the favourites to join Usher on stage.

How many songs will Usher perform? That's another market available to bettors this year.

The half-time show is a chance for the artist to put together a montage of their biggest hits.

Usher has a big back catalogue of songs to choose from and the over/under has been set at 8.5. We're going for the under at 13/8

Will There Be Purple Rain?

After the game, the tradition is that the winning head coach gets showered in Gatorade.

But what colour will it be? This year, orange and purple lead the market at 4/1, while blue can be backed at 9/2

Purple was the choice of colour last year, but will it be purple rain again this year at 7/2 with Boyle Sports?
