Ted Lasso Season 4 Odds: Phil Dunster And Cristo Fernandez To Land Guest Cameos

Ted Lasso fans are in raptures - as production on season four has kicked off.

Jason Sudeikis will reprise his role as the titular football manager in the Apple TV+ show, and some other potential cast returns have now been cleared up.

It was already known that Hannah Waddingham, who plays AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton, Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins) were heading back to the programme.

And now, Juno Temple, who had been 1/5 favourite on betting sites to reprise her role as Keeley Jones, has been confirmed after she was spotted on the show's set.

Several actors have also joined as series regulars, including Adolescence actress Faye Marsay, Sex Education's Tanya Reynolds, and Jurassic World: Dominion star Aisling Sharkey.

The fourth season is expected to focus on AFC Richmond's brand-new women's soccer team, and some of the newly-announced cast are expected to make up part of the starting XI.

Filming has begun in Kansas, which is expected to feature in episode one after Ted moved back there at the end of series three.

But he looks set to be tempted back to Richmond for the rest of season four.

Brendan Hunt, who plays Coach Beard, is also expected to reprise his role and be executive producer, but the other originals are yet to be confirmed.

However, characters Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster) and Danny Rojas (Cristo Fernandez) are just 4/5 and 10/11 on betting apps respectively to return to the show.

Sources have told Deadline that Phil and Cristo have been in talks with Apple TV+ bosses about returning to the programme for guest appearances.

The character of Ted's son Henry will also feature in the new series, but he has been recast.

Grant Feely, who portrayed a young Luke Skywalker in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, will take over from Gus Turner.

The season four futures of Richmond footballers Sam Obisanya (Toheeb Jimoh) and Isaac McAdoo (Kola Bokinni) are yet to be confirmed.

However, Toheeb and Kola, who are 2/1 and 5/2 respectively to reprise their roles, could also make guest appearances in the new series.

Lasso's Lionesses

England's Lionesses have been in action at Euro 2025 this summer - and some of the stars could head straight from Switzerland to Richmond to shoot guest appearances in the new Ted Lasso series.

If the show recruits any of the England women's team then captain Leah Williamson (Evens) is one of the most likely to score a cameo in the fourth season of the Apple TV+ drama.

Ella Toone (11/10), Alessia Russo (15/8) and Lauren James (2/1), who have all scored goals for England during Euro 2025, could also be in contention for appearances, as might manager Sarina Wiegman (13/8).

Several former professional women's players have been linked with cameos - including a couple of Scotts.

Ex-Lionesses Jill Scott (5/2) and Alex Scott (7/2) could portray pundits in series four, and Eni Aluko is just 4/1 to reprise her role as street soccer star Georgia, who appeared in series two.

Lineker's New Role

Several former England stars who turned out for the Three Lions could also make cameos in Ted Lasso.

Gary Lineker previously played himself in the show and he is the new 11/10 favourite to be one of the male former pros in season four.

The TV presenter may have some more time on his hands after he left football highlights show Match of the Day in May, following 26 years at the helm.

Gary's MOTD colleague Micah Richards is just 6/4 to appear in the new Ted Lasso series, and former France star Thierry Henry - who, like Lineker, has played himself in the show - is a 13/8 shot.

Other ex-England stars-turned-pundits who might be in contention for cameos include Peter Crouch (2/1), Gary Neville (9/2), Ian Wright (5/1) and Jamie Carragher (6/1).

Elsewhere, former Ireland captain Roy Keane and Manchester City player Jack Grealish - who are thought to be inspirations behind characters Roy Kent and Jamie Tartt - are 3/1 and 7/2 to rub shoulders with their alter-egos in the new series.
