Tom Lee's Panel Tips For Saturday, November 30:

Watford Vs QPR, Saturday 12.30pm

Momentum and profitability re-stocked after a much needed 3/1 midweek winning double for this column, we go back to the well trying to make it two winners in the space of four days on Saturday afternoon.

Regular readers will know Tom Cleverley's Watford were one of the sides to do us a favour on Tuesday evening, the Hornets hanging tough against Bristol City at Vicarage Road, eventually bagging the points courtesy of a tight and tenacious 1-0 win.

Ryan Andrews was the man responsible for the all-important strike to send 'Brizzle' home empty handed, and he and his teammates will surely be thriving on the fortress-like demeanour which currently surrounds their home form.

The 2024/25 season has seen them play eight times in front of their own supporters, with a fantastic seven wins and a draw the yield.

Watford possess one of the Championship's standout talents in the shape of playmaker Giorgo Chakvetadze, and it was his assist which made space for Reynolds to deliver the winning blow on Tuesday.

More of the same could be on the cards as their now fifth placed team welcome next to bottom QPR on Saturday lunchtime.

I don't normally like early kick-offs, but having seen Watford live in action just a week ago and with the confidence surrounding their home form especially, this feels like a day to make an exception.

The visiting Hoops are no mugs, far from it. Indeed draws against the likes of Burnley, Sunderland and Sheffield United tell us that.

They are probably a significantly better side than their current league position of 23rd implies, but their goals for tally of 15, the joint-fewest in the league alongside Cardiff City, is pathetic.

They'll have taken some confidence from Wednesday night's away win at Cardiff, a night when Slovenian centre forward Zan Celar came good with a brace to ensure a much-needed 2-0 win.

But this is far, far harder, and they face a team who are absolutely purring and furthermore loaded with quality.

With that in mind, I'm happy to select Watford to continue their charge up the table with yet another home win, an eventuality which is a top price of 10/11 with betting apps.

Norwich Vs Luton, Saturday 3pm

Leg two can also be found in the Championship, this time in the far east as Norwich City entertain travel-sick Luton Town.

Put simply, the 23/20 with football betting sites about a home win for the Canaries look too good to miss, especially when combined with Watford as the double pays around 3/1

I was present inside a chilly Carrow Road on Tuesday night to watch the East Anglia side absolutely destroy a ragged Plymouth Argyle by an embarrassing margin of six goals to one.

Seeing another of the Championship best players in the flesh was a treat, as Spaniard Borja Sainz bagged his 12th, 13th and 14th goals of the campaign with a sumptuously taken hat-trick.

The 23-year-old has found his niche and then some at Norwich, and currently tops the Championship scoring charts. Of course a blundering Plymouth aided and abetted a one-sided affair, but even so Norwich were ruthless.

Coach Johannes Hoff Thorup will have been delighted to welcome back a major presence in midfield, club captain Kenny McLean, after the Scot had served a four match suspension.

Norwich score plenty of goals, and at home this season have delivered other noticeable scorelines such as a 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough having trailed by two goals, as well as a 4-0 victory over Hull, plus a 4-1 success at the expense of Watford.

For a team who this time 12 months ago were operating in the Premier League, I've struggled to believe how poor they have been this season, currently languishing 16th in the Championship with a goal difference of minus 11.

They've generally been absolute garbage away from home, losing 3-2 at Plymouth, 2-0 at Sheffield United, 3-2 at Coventry, 5-1 at Middlesbrough and most recently 3-0 at Leeds on Wednesday night.

Points wise, they've claimed a meagre four from a possible 24 on their travels and this is a far from ideal time to be playing Norwich who, like Watford, surely fancy their charges of a surge up the table.
