Troy Parrott Next Club Odds: Everton Favourites For Ireland Hero

Republic of Ireland forward Troy Parrott has fast become one of the most intriguing talents in European football.

At 23 years of age, he’s already made a major impact with AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie, racking up 20 goals last season and six goals in eight appearances so far in the 2025-26 campaign.

The former Tottenham man has hit the headlines with his international exploits in recent weeks, and betting sites now have a market on which club he will sign for next.

Parrott fired a brace in Ireland’s shock 2-0 win over Portugal on November 13.

Just three days later, he bagged a dramatic hat-trick, including a 96th-minute winner in a 3-2 victory over Hungary that sealed Ireland’s place in the World Cup play-offs.

With that kind of form to his name, he has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, as well as some top teams in Europe.

So, what’s next for the in-form forward?

Toffees To Move For Troy?

Everton are the clear favourites in the market, according to most betting apps

Their recent goal-scoring issues in the Premier League mean they will be in the market for a young, hungry striker, and Parrott fits the bill.

With his surge in form for Ireland and AZ, he could be seen as a relatively affordable option compared to established Premier League strikers.

He would be teaming up with international pals Jake O'Brien and Seamus Coleman if he were to join Everton, and the 6/5 price suggests the market views a move to Goodison Park as the most likely scenario.

The question remains whether AZ would sell, given their contract leverage (contracted to 2029) and the Dutch club’s desire to hold on to a rising asset.

Hammers Struggling For Goals

West Ham sit close behind Everton in the betting at 7/4

The Hammers are sitting in the bottom three of the Premier League and have struggled for goals this season, while Niclas Fullkrug is thought to be leaving in January.

Given Parrott’s goalscoring record for club and country, and age profile, he would be an interesting signing for Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

Should they opt to go for someone of Parrott's profile instead of a marquee name, this move would make sense.

However, competition for the Irishman may stretch the asking fee beyond what West Ham want to pay.

Weary Wolves Need A Spark

Wolves are another club high in the betting market at 2/1

Wolves are enduring a miserable Premier League season and have struggled badly at both ends of the pitch.

A lack of goals has been a glaring issue, and if they want to retain their Premier League status, they will need to splash some cash in January.

Parrott would be a good signing, but whether a player on his current upward trajectory would opt for a side battling near the bottom is another question.

Still, the odds reflect that Wolves remain firmly in the conversation to be the Irishman's next club.

Return To Spurs On The Cards?

A return to Spurs would be a sentimental move for Parrott.

He came through the ranks at Tottenham, and the 3/1 price reflects that a move back to where it all began is a possibility.

They are enjoying a decent season so far under Thomas Frank, but they are short on forward options.

Having struggled to break into the first team at Spurs as a youngster, Parrott may feel he has a point to prove at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Celtic And Leeds In The Chase

Celtic (3/1) would offer Parrott a leading role in a side pushing for domestic dominance and regular European football, though matching AZ’s valuation could be a hurdle.

Their appeal lies in guaranteed minutes and the strong connection between Celtic fans and Irish players.

Leeds (4/1) are another credible contender, especially with their need for a versatile goalscorer.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has struggled for goals since signing in the summer, and a new striker will be high on the list for the January transfer window.

A move to Elland Road would give Parrott a high-profile platform in England, and they could be a good fit for the Irishman.

Other Clubs In The Running

Beyond the main contenders, several intriguing outsiders remain in the market.

Crystal Palace at 5/1 could appeal if they pursue younger attacking options, while Borussia Dortmund (9/1) and PSV Eindhoven (12/1) represent ambitious continental routes for a player with Parrott’s profile.

Napoli sit further out at 14/1, but Italian sides have a strong record of developing forwards, making them a dark-horse option rather than an impossibility.
