Usyk Vs Dubois Betting Tips: The Panel's Picks For The Big Rematch

Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois will renew hostilities in the ring this weekend, and betting sites have markets on how the fight will unfold.
Usyk defeated Dubois via a ninth-round stoppage back in August 2023, although the British fighter knocked down his opponent in the fifth round and was disappointed to see the punch labelled a 'low blow'.
He will be looking to exact revenge on Usyk in this long-awaited rematch at Wembley Stadium.
Usyk holds the WBA, WBC and WBO world titles in the heavyweight division, while Dubois is the IBF heavyweight world champion - so all those belts will be on the line on Saturday.
The Ukrainian is the favourite with betting apps, but Dubois will hope that home advantage helps him to come out on top.
What will happen in this blockbuster bout? Gambling.com take a closer look at Usyk vs Dubois II, and provide three tips for the big fight.

Usyk Should Prove Too Good For Dubois
Usyk’s track record speaks for itself. Dubois is not the only top fighter he has beaten in recent years.
Usyk has outclassed Tyson Fury twice and has also done the double over Anthony Joshua.
He is now targeting a second victory over Dubois. Usyk has a formidable 23-0 record in his professional career, and it is hard to see him losing for the first time this weekend.
That is not to say Dubois has zero chance of an upset. He is a big hitter, and he only needs one punch to knock Usyk out.
The Londoner arguably managed that back in 2023, only to see his uppercut ruled illegal. Dubois will have much of the crowd behind him at Wembley, and he has the height advantage too.
However, Dubois is facing one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, a man to whom he has already lost once. Usyk controlled virtually every round in that fight, and he has the intelligence and ring IQ to dominate once again.
The odds on a Usyk triumph are not hugely attractive, but it is still worth backing to beat Dubois for a second time.

Usyk Can Knock Down His Opponent
Dubois has raw power on his side, so we cannot rule out the possibility that he will knock down Usyk. It would only take a momentary lapse for the Ukrainian to give Dubois an opportunity, but Usyk’s career to date shows that he seldom makes errors of that kind.
In their first fight, Usyk took control with clever footwork and body movements, leaving Dubois swinging at shadows.
It is true that the Brit has looked sharp since then, but Usyk is operating at another level entirely. The Ukrainian southpaw is a brilliant technician, so power alone will not be enough to beat him.
Dubois must be wary of falling into Usyk’s traps. The Ukrainian will look to wear down Dubois, and while he is unlikely to knock him down in the first few rounds, Usyk will have more and more opportunities as the fight wears on.
His timing is superb, and he knows exactly when to strike. Dubois can probably punch harder than Usyk, but that is not what boxing is about.
The wily 38-year-old has what it takes to put Dubois on the canvas once again.

Ukrainian To Complete The Job In 10 Rounds
If this fight goes all the way, Usyk will probably end up winning on points. He landed many more punches than Dubois last time out, and there is no reason to expect anything different here.
The Ukrainian’s calculated pressure, intelligent movement and relentless accumulation will pose a major test for Dubois.
Granted, he is not known for early knockouts, but once he has worn down his opponents, he usually gets chances to land a stoppage.
Dubois will look to start quickly, but that could lead to him becoming increasingly tired and, therefore, vulnerable as time passes.
Usyk is a master at gradually turning the screw, as he demonstrated in his first contest against Dubois. That fight ended in the ninth round, and we could see something similar here.
By round seven or eight, Dubois’ output will dip, and defensive lapses will increase. Usyk’s timing and accuracy are sharpest when opponents are caught off-guard.
A stoppage between rounds eight and 10 seems the likeliest outcome. Under 10.5 rounds is good value with boxing betting sites because Usyk is too clever, efficient and experienced to let this go all the way.
