What Will KSI Do Next After Quitting Sidemen?

KSI caused chaos on socials in recent days after he announced the shock decision to quit YouTube group Sidemen, sparking speculation on betting sites about what he might do next.
He said on the video-sharing platform: "This is honestly the hardest video I’ve ever had to make in my life.
"I’ve gone back and forth on this decision for a very long time. I’ve spent months trying to figure out what the right thing to do is.
"But after a lot of thought, I’ve decided that I will no longer be doing sidemen videos. Today, the 31st of May, will be my final Sidemen video."
The Sidemen - made up of Simon Minter, Josh Bradley, Vikram Barn, Tobi Brown, Ethan Payne and Harry Lewis - were "sad to share the news" about KSI's exit, but all eyes are now on the group's future, and what KSI's next step will be.
Following In MrBeast's Footsteps?
KSI - whose real name is Olajide "JJ" Olatunji - has come a long way since he started making YouTube videos of himself playing video games in 2008.
He now boasts an incredible 18.4 million subscribers on the platform, but some believe his decision to quit Sidemen is part of a quest to further follow in the footsteps of YouTube's most successful content creator - MrBeast.
Real name Jimmy Donaldson, MrBeast has the most YouTube followers of all time, with a whopping 494 million subscribers.
Some have unfairly claimed KSI has set his sights on becoming the "Temu Mr Beast", but he has previously worked with the real deal - and can do so again.
KSI is now just 10/11 on betting apps to team up with MrBeast next.
Jimmy even took to X this week to ask his followers: "I’m confused, @KSI did you actually leave the Sidemen??"
Could he be considering another collaboration?
If KSI is looking to get anywhere near MrBeast's 494 million YouTube subscribers, he could be inspired by his pal and launch his own charity (6/4).
KSI Odds: What Will He Do Next?
Next Move | Odds | Probability |
Launch Own Charity | 6/4 | 40% |
Start A Family | 13/8 | 38.1% |
Release A New Single | 7/4 | 36.4% |
Make A Documentary | 2/1 | 33.3% |
Launch Restaurant | 5/2 | 28.6% |
Boxing Match | 3/1 | 25% |
This Morning Presenter | 7/2 | 22.2% |
Sidemen Diss Track | 4/1 | 20% |
I'm A Celebrity | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Strictly Come Dancing | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Celebrity Traitors | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Reunite With Sidemen | 50/1 | 2% |
KSI is no stranger to non-profit work, particularly through charity football matches with the Sidemen, but he could go a step further and register a personal charity, much like Jimmy's non-profit Beast Philanthropy, which has donated millions to disaster relief, food insecurity and community projects.
KSI has previously worked with MrBeast on snack kits Lunchly, which are made up of KSI and Logan Paul's Prime energy drinks, and MrBeast's Feastables chocolate bars.
Britain's Got Talent judge KSI is 5/2 to launch a restaurant next, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he did so with MrBeast.
To further boost his YouTube subscribers, KSI could also team up with the likes of fellow influencer iShowSpeed (Evens) or football megastar Cristiano Ronaldo (11/10) next.
Family Commitments
KSI recently wrapped on his first full season as a Britain's Got Talent judge, which is one of his many work commitments.
In part of his Sidemen exit statement, he said: "For now, I need to focus on myself, and I need to focus on fixing my work-life balance, just so I can finally focus on my health, and finally make time to see my family and make time to see my partner."
He is now just 13/8 to start a family with his mystery partner next.
During his time as a judge on BGT, KSI has seen several emotional tales from auditionees, which have pulled at his and his fellow judges' heartstrings.
It wouldn't be a surprise if he wanted to take some time out of the spotlight to spend more time with his own family, but a music comeback could also be on the cards.
He has Simon Cowell to thank for getting him the judging job on BGT, and another thing Simon knows a lot about is successful music acts.
KSI is 2/1 to team up with Simon on another project next, and just 7/4 to release a new single.
The YouTuber is 5/2 to work alongside his fellow BGT judge, singer and rapper Alesha Dixon, and he could also team up with Drake (5/1) or Stormzy (8/1).
KSI Odds: Who Will He Work With Next?
Celebrity | Odds | Probability |
MrBeast | 10/11 | 52.4% |
iShowSpeed | Evens | 50% |
Cristiano Ronaldo | 11/10 | 47.6% |
Logan Paul | 6/4 | 40% |
Simon Cowell | 2/1 | 33.3% |
Alesha Dixon | 5/2 | 28.6% |
Kai Cenat | 3/1 | 25% |
Drake | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Stormzy | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Mr Cherry | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Pep Guardiola | 33/1 | 2.9% |
Jurgen Klopp | 33/1 | 2.9% |
Sidemen | 50/1 | 2% |
KSI pressed his BGT Golden Buzzer for novelty act Mr Cherry - who is known for cracking walnuts and opening bottles with his buttcheeks - during the recent 19th series of the ITV talent show.
While he's not quite MrBeast, it's 10/1 that KSI works with Mr Cherry, whom he branded "the greatest thing".
Bookmakers make it 2/1 that a documentary will be next, and it's thought there is one in development about his takeover of Dagenham & Redbridge FC.
If he is looking for a new manager, he might be pleased to see former Man City and Liverpool gaffers Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are available. But KSI is a massive 33/1 to work with either as his next move.
Sidemen Odds: When Will They Completely Disband?
Year | Odds | Probability |
2026 | 13/8 | 38.1% |
2027 | 15/8 | 34.8% |
2028 | 2/1 | 33.3% |
2029 | 5/1 | 16.7% |
2030+ | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Sidemen To Be Sidelined?
It looks even more unlikely, at 50/1, that KSI reverses his decision to quit the Sidemen and reunite with his pals.
Following his exit statement, the Sidemen said: "We had an amazing time on this journey with him, and we wish him all the best with his future endeavours.
"This came as a surprise to us, and we know it will be an adjustment for you, but we've got lots of exciting stuff planned that we can't wait to share."
After admitting they were shocked by KSI's decision to quit, the Sidemen are just 13/8 to completely disband by the end of the year, while it's 15/8 that they do so next year.
