Which EPL Manager is Kenough for the Silver Screen?

Barbie is officially the highest grossing film of this year, as brilliant reviews and childhood nostalgia have helped push the film’s revenue past £67.5 million in its first three weeks. And speaking of blockbuster entertainment - the English Premier League is also set to return this weekend.

So what happens when these two worlds collide? Gambling.com decided to work on the ultimate crossover, by seeing what each Premier League manager would look like as Ken - Barbie’s male counterpart from the film, and indeed many peoples’ childhoods. They used the aptly named AI image generation tool BaiRBIE, along with images of each manager, to create these masterpieces.

So now when you’re sitting down to watch the Premier League, or heading back to the cinema to see Barbie for the fourth time, you won’t have to wonder what the gaffer of each EPL club would look like after a fashion doll inspired makeover.

Methodology

• Gambling.com worked out what each Premier League manager would look like as Ken from the Barbie movie.
• After gathering manager photos from the clubs’ official websites and Transfer Markt - they put the images through the BaiRBRE application to get an image of each manager as a Ken.
• All information was collected on 10th August 2023.
