Who Will Take Part In Strictly Come Dancing 2025?

Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas has teased fans they can expect an "off-the-charts" line-up for this year's show.

Celebrities have been foxtrotting on to the Who Will Take Part In Strictly Come Dancing market on betting sites in their droves of late - and the names keep coming thick and fast.

Shirley has teased Strictly super fans to expect the "cast of all casts" for the BBC Latin and ballroom show's 23rd series.

She said on This Morning: "There are a few little changes - you know they do little things every year. But we’ve got the cast of all casts. It’s going to be off the charts!"

Could this include a Traitors winner and a Neighbours legend?

Faithful Dancer

Strictly has been funny about having reality TV stars on the show in the past, but their so-called reality TV star ban was recently waived when former Love Island stars Tasha Ghouri and Zara McDermott took part in the programme.

And Strictly bosses could be confining the reality TV rule to the history books again this year - because The Traitors winner Jake Brown is the new 8/15 favourite on betting apps to join the show, and former Love Island winner Dani Dyer is an 8/11 chance.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Strictly bosses think Jake would be the perfect fit for this year's line-up.

"He's a good guy, as viewers saw by his journey on The Traitors, so he will be popular with the fanbase, and they love to cross-promote with other huge BBC shows."

Jake - who opened up about having cerebral palsy during his time on The Traitors - is expected to be an inspiration to many in series 23.

The source added: "Jake has also overcome a lot of adversity in his life with his cerebral palsy, so it will really be inspiring to see how he tackles the dancefloor with a disability."

Jake has leaped ahead of former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison (4/7) and ex-Premier League striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (8/13) in the market.

Everybody Loves Good Neighbours

One of Jake's neighbours on the show could be soap icon Stefan Dennis.

The actor - who has become a household name on Australian soap Neighbours - is just 4/6 to join the show's cast of 2025, after the serial drama filmed its last-ever episode earlier this month.

With shooting complete ahead of the final Neighbours episode airing in December, Stefan might have some time on his hands to take to the Strictly ballroom.

A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Stefan is a huge character on the soap and is sure to be a hit with Strictly fans. BBC bosses are confident Stefan will bring in the ratings.

"He has made no secret of the fact that he would love to star on Strictly and will put his all into the training."

One of Neighbours' big 2025 plots saw Stefan's character Paul Robinson - who he has played since the show's first episode in 1985 - pushed from a mezzanine, leading to a whodunnit.

However, Stefan looks set to swap his mezzanine woe for the waltz later this year.

Other soap stars in contention for this year's Strictly include EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal (4/5) and former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan (5/6).

Love Is Strictly In The Air

Helen previously starred on Celebs Go Dating, which is the workplace of another potential Strictly 2025 competitor.

Dating guru Paul Carrick Brunson - who hails from the US - is just 11/8 to take part in this year's series, after he was said to be in talks with bosses.

A source told The Sun: "Paul would be the ideal tonic to the dark clouds over Strictly as he’s clean-cut, very intelligent and has no scandals to worry about.

"They are now in discussion but he’s met with producers a number of times. Everyone is hoping he’ll sign on the dotted line and is keen to make it happen."

Married At First Sight guest expert Paul is no stranger to Strictly after having pro dancer Karen Hauer as a guest on his podcast, We Need To Talk, recently.

The source added: "The crucial 16-34 audience, which execs are desperate to hook, are well aware of Paul because of his podcast, and MAFS and Celebs Go Dating are hugely popular with that age group."

Other names linked to this year's Strictly include Olympic legend Sir Mo Farah (10/11), former Apprentice star Tom Skinner (11/10), and ex-Made in Chelsea star Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo (6/4).

A BBC spokesperson said: "We don’t comment on speculation."
