Who Will Headline The Super Bowl LX Half-Time Show?

The 2025 NFL season kicks off this week, and while many fans cannot wait to see who has what it takes to go all the way to the Super Bowl - some have cast their minds even further.
There are yet to be any touchdowns or tears in this NFL campaign, but there has already been plenty of speculation on the best betting sites about who might headline the 2026 Super Bowl half-time show.
Kendrick Lamar did the honours earlier this year, and his performance featured the likes of singer SZA as well as Hollywood A-list actor Samuel L. Jackson and tennis superstar Serena Williams.
So who will be booked for February 8, 2026?
Swift's Super Bowl Easter Egg
One pop megastar who has been linked with Super Bowl half-time show headline appearances more times than she has albums is Taylor Swift.
The Love Story hitmaker is rarely out of the headlines, and she has been dominating news agendas again recently after getting engaged to her Kansas City Chiefs tight end boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Tayvis's exciting news came just days after Taylor announced her upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which will drop on October 3.
Taylor revealed details of her new record during an appearance on Travis and his retired NFL star brother Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast.

During her chat with the siblings, some fans believe the Shake It Off hitmaker dropped an Easter egg about performing at this season's Super Bowl half-time show.
She said on the pod: "I have a new baking obsession every six months. Right now, we're very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life.
"It's gotten pretty crazy over here. I'm just, like, always baking bread, and texting my friends, and being like, 'Can I bake you some bread? I need some feedback. Do you like this one better than the other one? I did the rise a little differently.'"
While that could simply be a reference to her bread baking, some Swifties are convinced it means she will headline the 2026 half-time show.
That is because it will be held at the San Francisco 49ers' Levi's Stadium, in Santa Clara, California, and the team's mascot is called Sourdough Sam.
Taylor's lucky number is 13 and some some maths geniuses have been busy calculating that the four and nine in the 49ers' name adds up to 13. Spooky, right?
It is just 5/4 on betting apps for Swift to headline the next Super Bowl half-time show, and it might be a particularly poignant performance if her now-fiance Kelce was playing in the spectacle for the Chiefs.
99 Problems But Half-Time Show Ain't One
There is a competitive market for the coveted headline spot and another name who has been linked for many years is Jay-Z.
The rapper's entertainment company Roc Nation has overseen the half-time show since 2019, but he is yet to appoint himself as the main on-stage attraction.
However, rumours about a new Jay-Z album have intensified of late.
His friend and collaborator Memphis Bleek recently dropped a huge hint that the 99 Problems hitmaker is working on new tunes.
Speaking on Drink Champs, he said: "I just was with him in Vegas. He just came out on the show, like, 'Yo,' they went stupid.
"I said, 'Listen, I know you working. Save me a verse.' He’s like, 'Alright, I got you.' So if it happens, it happens."
Next year will be the 30th anniversary of Jay's 1996 debut album Reasonable Doubt.
There does appear to be some evidence that Jay could headline the 2026 Super Bowl half-time show and he is just 6/4 to take it on.
Drake's Revenge?
Drake headlining the Super Bowl LX half-time show a year after his nemesis Kendrick Lamar could be a masterstroke.
Lamar dominated 2025, winning five prizes at the Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year for his Drake diss track Not Like Us.
If Drake wants revenge, then he could get it at next year's Super Bowl half-time show.
The rapper also has a new record, Iceman, coming out.
It is expected to drop later this year, and where better to promote his ninth studio album than on the world's greatest stage?
The God's Plan hitmaker is a 15/8 chance to headline the 2026 half-time show, but he may just miss out.
Drake has been involved in numerous Billboard chart battles with Swift over the years, but she could pip him to the Super Bowl LX half-time show headliner slot, too.
Other stars in contention include Dallas Cowboys fan Post Malone (2/1) and K-pop boy band BTS (5/2).
If Roc Nation are looking for more of a local connection for next year's half-time show then heavy metal outfit Metallica (9/2) could get the nod.
The band were formed in Los Angeles, but have been based in San Francisco since the 1980s - and they certainly know how to put on a show.
