Wilfried Gnonto is still a Leeds United player for now but UK betting sites believe he could still move on before the transfer window closes.
English clubs have until September 1 to complete their business and history suggests there will be plenty of activity right up until the deadline.
Gnonto impressed despite Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League last term, and the club’s supporters were puzzled when he was left out of the team at times during Javi Gracia’s short tenure.
The Italy international is a huge talent and it is no surprise to see several clubs being linked with a swoop for him.

Spurs are still considering whether to sign a striker to replace Harry Kane, or whether to stick with Richarlison in that role.
If they do decide to bring in a new No.9, there might not be enough money left for a wide player like Gnonto, who would have to compete for minutes with Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, Manor Solomon, James Maddison and Bryan Gil.
That is the main reason why Spurs are available at a more distant 6/1 with new betting sites, but we cannot rule this transfer out just yet.

Aston Villa were dealt a huge blow on the eve of the new campaign, as Emi Buendia suffered a serious knee injury that will keep him sidelined for the majority of 2023/24.
Villa have since brought in Nicolo Zaniolo, but they could yet sign another attacker - especially after Philippe Coutinho limped out of the 4-0 victory over Everton at the weekend.
Gnonto is a different kind of player to Buendia and Coutinho, but his speed and skill would make him an excellent alternative to Leon Bailey and Moussa Diaby.
The Italian is available at 12/1 to end up at Villa Park, where Unai Emery will be seeking a deeper squad to cope with the challenge of simultaneous domestic and continental commitments.

Fulham and Inter are available at 40/1 with UK bookmakers. Neither team has shown a concrete interest in the 19-year-old, and it is hard to see him ending up at either Craven Cottage or San Siro.
