Grand National Tips: Back These Now Before Their Odds Shorten

The Aintree Grand National is one of the most popular races to bet on each year, and there are plenty of horses available to back at big prices with betting sites.
With the number of bets placed on the lead-up to the Aintree spectacle, prices can quickly shorten on fancied runners.
It is important to place your bets early if you want to get more bang for your buck at higher prices.
Here, we look at three horses whose Grand National odds are likely to shorten before the unique contest gets underway.
Stumptown
Stumptown is currently vying for favouritism for the National, and it is easy to see why.
Gavin Cromwell's runner was very impressive when winning the Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham last month.
In recent years, that race has proved to be a good warm-up for the Aintree highlight.
He has already been well-backed with betting apps, but his odds are likely to shorten even further in the lead-up.
It would be no surprise to see the eight-year-old go off as favourite on the day, so his current odds of 8/1 may prove plenty of value.
Hyland
It is incredible to think that Nicky Henderson has never won the Grand National, but he has a good chance of breaking his duck in this year's contest.
The progressive Hyland may still be a novice, but Noble Yeats proved in 2022 that they can win the race.
With all of the recent adjustments made to the race, any potential winner needs to have a touch of class - something that Hyland certainly possesses.
He was beaten by just two and a half lengths in the Grade 1 Kauto Star Novices Chase at Kempton over Christmas but was disappointing at the same track on his last start.
Although his jumping has not always been as fluid as it should be, he seems to have big stamina reserves, which is essential in this marathon race.
He is a solid each-way option at a price of 16/1 with horse racing betting sites.
Senior Chief
The biggest-priced runner of these three selections, Senior Chief is another who could surprise many at Aintree on Saturday afternoon.
A few factors could shorten Henry de Bromhead's horse's odds in the Grand National betting market.
His trainer's results at Cheltenham are a big positive, as are his horses' performances in the Aintree showpiece in recent years.
Jockey bookings are still to be confirmed, but there is a possibility that Rachael Blackmore may take the ride, something that will attract even more bets.
Senior Chief has been targeted at this race all season and has some decent chasing form in the book.
At 25/1, he is another horse that each-way backers will be drawn to and is likely to go off at a shorter price on the day, particularly if Blackmore is in the saddle.
