Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane are among the superstar forwards that will bid to light up the World Cup Round of 16 on Sunday.
Leading betting sites make France the massive favourites to get the better of Poland in the 3pm game at Al Thumama Stadium.
The action then shifts to Al Bayt Stadium, where England will take on reigning African champions Senegal at 7pm.
The Lions of Teranga will be a little depleted, as Idrissa Gueye is suspended and star player Sadio Mané is out injured, so Gareth Southgate’s men are the odds-on favourites to win that one.
If England and France both progress, they will meet for a heavyweight quarter-final clash, but they cannot take their Round of 16 matches lightly.

France vs Poland, Sunday, 3pm
Les Bleus finished top of Group D after thumping Australia 4-1 and then battling to a 2-1 victory over Denmark.
Kylian Mbappe was the driving force behind those victories, as the PSG superstar registered three goals and an assist from two games.
Manager Didier Deschamps fielded a reserve team in France’s final group stage match, as qualification for the knockout stage of the tournament was already guaranteed.
They lost 1-0 to Tunisia, but France still finished ahead of their group rivals, and they should be a lot more dangerous when Mbappe, Ousmane Dembélé, Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud, Adrien Rabiot, Benjamin Pavard and Theo Hernández are resorted to the starting XI.
Their reward is a Round of 16 clash with the runners-up from Group C Poland, and World Cup betting sites strongly fancy the defending champions to win the game.
Poland finished level on points with Mexico in that group, but they ended up with a slightly better goal difference than El Tri, so they advanced to the knockout stage by the slenderest of margins.
Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny was the hero, as he saved penalties against Saudi Arabia and Argentina in the group stage.
He kept a clean sheet in Poland’s opener, a 0-0 draw with Mexico, and he produced a string of superb saves to lead his team to a 2-0 win against Saudi Arabia.
Poland were comprehensively outplayed by Argentina in their final group stage match, but Szczęsny thwarted Lionel Messi from the penalty spot and made several other smart saves to keep the scoreline respectable.
He ensuring his team scraped through to the Round of 16. However, this is highly likely to be the end of the road for Poland.
They are a tough, organised team with an in-form goalkeeper and dangerous forwards in Lewandowski and Piotr Zieliński, but they lack quality in midfield.
Mbappe and Dembélé could be too hot for Poland’s full-backs to handle, and France should ultimately ease to a relatively comfortable victory.

England vs Senegal, Sunday, 7pm
The Three Lions are the tournament’s top scorers after they banged in nine goals during the group stage.
It is interesting to note that Kane - the pre-tournament favourite in the Golden Boot betting odds - has not yet opened his account.
However, the England captain has been in fine form while playing in a deeper role, and he has teed up plenty of chances for his teammates.
England’s wingers have scored eight of their nine goals thus far. Bukayo Saka scored twice in the 6-2 win against Iran and Raheem Sterling was also on target in that game.
They were replaced by Jack Grealish and Marcus Rashford in the second half, and both men were on the scoresheet.
Rashford then grabbed a brace to put Wales to the sword, while Phil Foden also turned in a Kane cross in that 3-0 win.
Southgate’s men were too timid when drawing 0-0 with the USA in their second group stage match, but they responded with an emphatic win against Wales - so they should be full of confidence right now.
The manager will find it hard to leave Rashford out of the starting XI, so he may get the nod ahead of Saka or Sterling, and England’s main goal threat will come once again from the flanks.
Senegal will miss Gueye, the Everton midfielder, who picked up a second yellow card for the tournament in the tense 2-1 win against Ecuador last time out.
Mané is obviously a big miss, so this will be an understrength Senegal side, who will need big performances from Chelsea duo Édouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly if they are to defy the prices on football betting sites.
The Lions of Teranga lost 2-0 to the Netherlands in the group stage, before bouncing back with wins against Qatar and Ecuador.
England are arguably superior to the Netherlands, and they really should be able to get the job done against this shorthanded Senegal team on Sunday.
