Cody Gakpo has been one of the stars of World Cup 2022 and betting sites believe there is a good chance he will be on the move in the January transfer window.
The PSV attacking midfielder, who has scored three goals for the Netherlands in Qatar, came close to joining Leeds United in the summer, but he now has his sights set higher.
Several leading Premier League clubs are keeping close tabs on the 23-year-old, and there is interest from elsewhere in Europe too.
Gakpo - who can play out wide, as a central attacking midfielder or even up front - scored 21 goals in 47 games for PSV last term.
So far this season, he has found the back of the net 13 times in 24 appearances for the Dutch outfit.

Manchester United In Pole Position To Win Race
Manchester United are the 5/2 favourites with football betting sites to land Gakpo, who refused to rule out a switch to Old Trafford in a recent interview.
Those comments may embolden the Red Devils to submit a bid early in the January window.
“I haven't heard from Manchester United yet,” Gakpo said. “When they come, I'll think about it. I also seek the help of God in these decisions.”
Erik ten Hag has been given a big say in United’s recruitment since he joined the club, with Antony, Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia all brought in from the Eredivisie.
Ten Hag has never coached Gakpo, but he no doubt knows plenty about his compatriot from his time back home.
With Cristiano Ronaldo having departed by mutual consent, United are on the lookout for a new attacker and Gakpo could be that man.

Liverpool Might Look Elsewhere In January Window
Liverpool’s transfer priority over the next six to eight months appears to be Jude Bellingham, who looks set to depart Borussia Dortmund at the end of the current campaign.
The Reds are said to be at the front of the queue to land the England international, although they will no doubt face stiff competition for his signature.
Liverpool are outsiders in the race for Gakpo, priced at 14/1 along with Leeds United.
That is probably because there are no concrete signs that Jurgen Klopp’s side are looking to sign Gakpo.
There are already plenty of attacking options within the Liverpool squad, and it is not clear whether the club would be ready to pay a £65m asking price in January.

Tottenham Among Outsiders For Netherlands International
Tottenham looks like an even more unlikely destination for Gakpo, as demonstrated by odds of 18/1 with Betfair.
That is partly because there is no natural place for him within Antonio Conte’s favoured 3-4-3 formation, which does not feature a No.10.
Spurs have backed Conte in the transfer market since he came to the club, but it is hard to see them dropping £65m on an attacking midfielder in January.
With Son Heung-min, Harry Kane, Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski already on the books, Spurs’ priorities lie elsewhere.
