Flows Launches Sphere Wheel 3D Mini-Game For Operators

Flows has launched Sphere Wheel, a 3D spin wheel mini-game delivered through FlowsWave, the supplier's player-facing engagement layer.
The release, dated London, October 27, 2026, makes it the second mini-game to go live on the platform after the crash game covered in our report on Flows launching free-to-play NFL crash game TakeDown.
According to the company announcement, the new wheel gives operators more flexibility over prizes, probabilities and player experiences than a standard two-dimensional spin wheel.
How Sphere Wheel Works
Sphere Wheel can be triggered by player events and shown at different points in the player journey. Flows says operators can use it within rewards, missions, login bonuses, retention and wider gamification campaigns.
Operators can tailor the game to their brand, campaign and audience, including prizes, probabilities, currency and visual styling. Flows says it manages the technology, security and final outcome behind the experience, so the operator controls the setup while the supplier handles the result.
The 3D format allows a wider range of potential prizes and outcomes than a flat wheel. Flows says operators can offer a broader mix of rewards while controlling the probability of each, and that different visual treatments and animations can create bigger moments around higher-value wins.
Built To Sit On Top Of Existing Technology
FlowsWave works alongside an operator's existing technology and content. Flows says that means new player-facing experiences can be introduced without rebuilding the underlying platform, which it describes as a faster and simpler route to market.
Nicola Testasecca, Product Manager for FlowsWave at Flows, said spin wheels are already a familiar and popular mechanic with players. Testasecca said the aim with Sphere Wheel was to take that experience further and give operators more ways to use it, and added that the 3D format suits mobile by keeping visual quality high while widening the range of prizes and outcomes.
Testasecca also said anything built within FlowsWave can be branded, tailored to different campaigns and connected into the wider player journey.

From TakeDown To Sphere Wheel
The first title on FlowsWave was TakeDown, a free-to-play NFL-themed crash game. In its TakeDown launch release on September 17, 2026, Flows said it could be used for anti-churn, missions, login rewards and gamification, and showed it at SBC Summit in Lisbon, which ran from September 29 to October 1.
Flows said at that point that more titles and game formats would follow, and its October 27 announcement repeats that more interactive experiences are set to come. Sphere Wheel targets the same retention and engagement use cases Flows describes for TakeDown.
Flows describes itself as an orchestration platform for iGaming that processes over a billion real-time events a day. It names Fanatics and Light & Wonder among the operators and suppliers that use it.
Free-to-play wheels and similar mini-games usually sit inside an operator's own app or site as a reward feature, so what a player sees depends on the operator's own prizes and terms. Anyone comparing what licensed sites offer can start with our online casino bonuses guide and always read the terms before claiming a reward.
