The Masked Singer series five Grand Finale will air on Saturday, February 17, and there has been a huge shake up on betting sites after a couple of shock exits.

Last weekend's episode featured another double elimination, as Air Fryer and Eiffel Tower went home.

Masked Singer fans have since taken to social media in their droves to declare their disappointment at Air Fryer's early exit.

The character was unmasked as 1/3 favourite Keala Settle, who judge Davina McCall praised for "disguising her voice" during the competition, after none of the panellists – Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina, and guest judge Lorraine Kelly - correctly identified her. Eiffel Tower was also unmasked as 80s pop star Tiffany.

The singer, who is best known for her hit song I Think We're Alone Now, was 1/2 favourite to be the character.

Piranha, Cricket, and Bigfoot progressed to Saturday's Grand Finale, but who will be victorious?

Danny Flying As Piranha

Air Fryer had been favourite to win the series before her early exit last weekend, and Piranha has now taken over as the market leader on The Masked Singer betting sites.

The character is 6/4 to scoop the season five title, and McFly star Danny Jones is into 1/5 to be unmasked as the character.

Several clues have appeared to relate to the singer over the course of the series.

These include Piranha mentioning golf term "fairway", which could be a reference to the band's music video for 2004 hit Obviously, which was set on a golf course.

Danny is also from Bolton, and, in a previous Masked Singer episode, Piranha sang Michael Bolton tune How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.

Pinecones have also been one of Piranha's clues, and it is thought that could be a reference to McFly appearing in 2006 comedy movie Just My Luck opposite Chris Pine.

Another clue was a nurse's office, which could be a nod to McFly's cameo in BBC medical drama Casualty in 2005.

If it's not Danny it would be a huge shock, but the likes of X Factor stars Shayne Ward (5/1) and Matt Cardle (7/1) may have pulled off a huge bluff.

Lemar Vs Simon

Cricket is the 3/1 second favourite on specials betting sites to land this year's Masked Singer crown, but who is under the mask?

Lemar has been heavy favourite to be Cricket for a number of weeks now, but Blue singer Simon Webbe has re-emerged as a strong contender.

Simon was the initial favourite to be Cricket, before the Lemar speculation took over.

One of Cricket's clues was the words "all rise", and it's thought that could be a nod to Blue's hit 2001 album of the same name.

Another hint that it could be Simon is that there is a former English cricketer called Simon Webb.

However, there have been other clues about Fame Academy, and Lemar finished third on the first series of the talent show in 2002.

With less than a week to go until the Grand Finale, it's just 8/11 that Lemar is behind the Cricket mask, while it's 11/8 that it is Simon.

Another star in the running is pro boxer Anthony Joshua, who is the 5/1 third favourite to be Cricket.

Several clues could relate, including "gold dust", after the boxer won gold at the London 2012 Olympics, and Cricket also said he "got dizzy while perched on a sofa".

It's thought that might be a nod to Anthony being good friends with rapper Dizzee Rascal.

Bigfoot Avoids The Boot Again

Some Masked Singer fans were left stunned that Bigfoot has made it to Saturday's Grand Finale.

The character has been an outsider to win the series on betting apps for most of the season, but the fact he has avoided the boot means he is in with a chance of causing an upset in the final.

TV presenter Alex Brooker is the 1/4 favourite to be the character, and if it turns out to be him then he could be one of the first ever Masked Singer UK finalists who doesn't have professional singing experience.

However, he did once perform with Blue on an episode of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and should Alex be unmasked as Bigfoot and Simon be Cricket then they could reunite in The Masked Singer Grand Finale.

Several clues have appeared to be a nod that Alex is Bigfoot. He wears a prosthetic leg after his right leg had to be amputated when he was a baby, and is best known for hosting Channel 4 panel show The Last Leg.

For one of Bigfoot's clues, the character said: "I'm gonna blow your sock off," which could be another nod to Alex.

What's more, Bigfoot has previously mentioned one of his strengths was "once linked to a sporting rhinoceros", and it's thought this could also be a reference to Alex, who signed for the Leeds Rhinos' Foundation PDRL (Physical Disability Rugby League) team in 2018.

TV presenters and nature enthusiasts Hamza Yassin (6/1), Bear Grylls (8/1), and Ray Mears (10/1) are also in the Bigfoot discussion, but it would be a huge surprise if Alex doesn't emerge as the character.
